Great show guys. I agree with Leon, the asian guy was badass in that last episode. Personally if I were him I'd be getting pretty annoyed with them treating me like the whipping boy giving me all the dangerous jobs to do. I'm glad he got a lil something in this episode.

Korey, I'm so glad you've realized the problem you guys have been having lately with insulting not only the audience, but your fans for taste in movies.  I've been listening for years, and I've been backing off your other podcast because of the insults.  Wasn't much use in trying to say anything, because non of you would have listened and probably would have saw it as an attack.  I'm glad you realized this and hopefully make the others understand it.  Big ups on Leon for catching the 'don't talk about it until you've tried it', been my motto for a long time.

To answer the question about whether or not Hollywood will start making movies with lower budgets: No.

Horror-movies have always been cheaper since it's easier to create scary/gross effects by showing less and hiding the monster in the shadows, so it's not really a trend.

The monster in Paranormal Activity is invisible so there's no CGI. Had all the monsters in Conan the Barbarian or Clash of the Titans been invisible it would be stupid since they don't belong to the horror-genre and it's not what the audience have learned to expect.

No offense to Hallzzz... but I listen to the podcasts to hear you guys talk. I like the new thing the site with including members in quick little thing like on the Loading Bar video. However I found myself disinterested in this week's ACOCO. That's my two cents.

Only noticeable "influence" on The Matrix, was the fact they used the same set for a few scenes. If anything, The Matrix story is closer to The Truman Show, but even then it was written years before. All those movies were made so close to each other.

 

Nitpick: Is there a reason the comments section goes in ascending order? Is this going to be changed?
