Watched it at a film festival earlier this month. Very slow to the point of boredom but Shannon did a great job with the material that was there for him. Looking forward to see what else he can do and see what range he has as an actor in besides Boardwalk Empire.

Just watched it. Good movie with a great performance by Shannon. Granted, it was a bit too slow for my taste and I really didn't like how the movie wanted to have it both ways when it came to the ending.

I just watched this now and I thought it was fairly decent. Trust those Remote Viewing boys (especially Lord Salisbury) to know what's what. This is the first time I've seen that actor Michael Shannon and I can concur, the man is a top actor alright. His freakout scene had me pinned back in my chair. I shall be on the case for seeing more of his work.

And is it just me or does he look like the bastard love child of Willem Dafoe and Jude Law?

I believe any inspiring psychology majors or anyone with an interest for psychology have to see this film.

Slow but totally worth it.

I'm interested... there have been some fascinating films that deal with the subject of a family that must decide whether or not to follow a father whose sanity may be slipping.  Great stuff like Close Encounters, Mosquito Coast, Frailty and Falling Down.  Also, from the previews I'm reminded of A Serious Man, with its metaphor of the storm. Think I may need to check this out, though I can see how it's probably not going to appeal to everyone.

2012 Dallas Event (Dark Knight Rises and/or Avengers)

Trying to plan a 50-100 person 2-day event this coming summer...main event being a large group of Spill members seeing Dark Knight Rises or Avengers on opening day with our seats reserved followed by a day of live pod-casting with food and drinks maybe even some type of giveaway. If any one is interested please add me on Facebook under " MasterAtArms52383@yahoo.com " or text my TextPlus account 414-434-7744 and let me know...I am just in the first stage of planning and I will not be out done by Nick Hodges...Checkmate Nicki Poo
