I don't know if anyone else saw this. But during the film, i counted 11 shots where the boom mike was clearly in the shot hanging over peoples heads. It felt lazy and kind of bothered me.

I just watched this. I'd give it a rental. It was funny but the plot was unfocused and the pacing was terrible

Great book, Being a white guy living in a Caribbean country on the brink of revolution, working for the news station and fueling my lifestyle on drugs and alcohol, I really identified with Rum Diaries.
