Loved the hell out of this movie, Jerry Boyle was a really interesting character, and this movie had one of the most satisfying endings I've seen in awhile. High Full Price

Saw that play a year ago with Chris Pine as the lead. I fucking loved it except for the dead cat theme.

Great review, its good to see such a random little Irish movie being watched by people across the pond. I would've thought the non-irish out there would have trouble with some of the pretty damn colloqial accents though?!

You say that this movie is like in Bruges will his brother Martin McDonagh wrote and directed that movie, he is also a well know playwrite of the Pillowman and the Lieutenant of Inishmore one of my favorite batshit crazy plays.

 

 

In a nutshell a known Irish terrorist goes on a bloody rampage to avenge the murder of his cat,

It's the only play that is a mixture of violence and comedy I know about out there.

im irish and live in ireland and fuckin love rthis movie, it is a very good depiction of the west of ireland
