SDCC '11 Prometheus Panel
We streamed the Prometheus panel during Comic Con '11 but I missed it dammit! If I'd had know
about it I would have rolled my ass over to Hall H, but thanks to the modern marvel of the internet
I can now see it for myself and so can you! This video has Ridley Scott via satellite giving you info
about his new film Prometheus that has "DNA" stands from his original sci-fi classic Alien. Check it out!

I heard that despite what anyone tells you, the footage that was shown clearly indicates that this truly is an Alien prequel. I don't know about you but I can't wait to see the Aliens humble beginnings!

I love 3-D, I just don't like the fact that it's increased the movie tickets by an extra 6.50 per making toy shell out over $21.00 per ticket. As man who loves taking my kid and girlfriend to the theater, paying over $60 for one movie at three tickets is absurd.

Might still be a chance the movie gets released with an R rating how ever small, real small it is. The R rated version of the film looks like DVD content to me. Still some hope. What I'm really way more concerned about is the overall quality of Prometheus. There has not been a great Alien movie since well Aliens in 1986. 25 long, long years of lackluster to down right crappy sequels & shitty spinoffs (those two AVP frats) have taken the once bright shine from the franchise. The creature needs to take life in order to be born, it needs to kill to live. With an R, Ridley can only gloss over these important facts but what I need is a great sic-fi movie first, even with out the gore. At least for now.
