Fincher to Adapt 'Peter Proud'

Heat Vision reports that David Fincher is attached to direct the new adaptation of The Reincarnation of Peter Proud for Columbia.
The script, which is based on the Max Ehrlich novel, will be penned by Andrew Kevin Walker.
The Reincarnation of Peter Proud centers on a college professor who begins having recurring dreams and nightmares and, realizing they are images of a past life, decides to search out the source of the visions. With his girlfriend in tow, he discovers a woman and her grown-up daughter who are keys to his past life.

Comment by MisterKeitel on November 9, 2009 at 1:08pm - I remember that I read the book as a kid and then, many years later, saw this on late night TV. It was probably all cut up though. Back in the 70's when I was a kid, all this stuff like reserection, last life reggression, biofeedback, channeling entities (named Michael) and UFO's, was a big deal. And the movies of the time reflected that.

- I remember this as a kid. Margot Kidder (Lois Lane in Superman) was in this. Its going to be creepy. Kind of like Seven was creepy with a bad end for the hero.
