Hey guys, I know you're clowning but so what if Carlyle doesn't entertain you every second of every podcast. Keep in mind, these guys record at 4am inbetween working on their job. Whether it be writing or animation, I can't imagine the pressure of pumping out a piece with the deadlines that Korey and Carlyle get. There's no job security in the movie journalism business. You literally have to write for your life so I can understand why Carlyle has to cut it short.

I appreciated the fact Korey and Carlyle went an extra 10 minutes for us. Remember its up to us to write better questions so we can make these podcasts more interesting. [/soapbox]

Even if you're not in the industry, I've never been a fan of those who say "How come you haven't seen 'insert movie name' yet?!" as if there's a list of movies you HAVE to see vs. ones you should see.

Jesus christ, another "LOL KOREY, REMEMBER WHEN YOU GOT DRUNK AND THREW A CHAIR!" and again bringing up Korey's trip.
You need to get some new material there Cargill.

I really liked how Carlyle opened up a little bit and talked about his experience with church. Billy Zane and Sean Astin are two actors that have a lot of upside, but aren't really considered leading men. It seems like in the 90's and possibly the early 00's Billy Zane had a little juice. I don't remember him doing anything the past 5 years or so. I know Sean Astin has had a great child career and will always be reconized as Sam Wise, but I don't think people think of him as a lead actor.

Great ACOCO guys, Ummm I don't think Clifton Collins Jr. should STOP acting AT ALL, I mean, I think he should do small roles on big budget films like Star Trek to pay the bills, and then do Indie films that'll show Hollywood that he has the acting chops.

I saw the Croupier in theatres when it was first released and enjoyed it thoroughly enough to become a Clive Owen mark. Seeing Alex from ER's bodacious ta-tas was the icing on the cake. Haven't seen the Woman Chaser yet.

You know Carlyle I dont know if i totally agree with you saying that Clifton Collins junior is never gonna get a big role in the future. Al Pacino was considered nothing but an upstart when they were casting him for Godfather from what i've heard. I have to (respectfully, of course) disagree. I think if he keeps on acting he will get a really good role, but not anytime soon.
Also, kudo's to you for the Rules of Attraction refference. I loved that movie. Oh shit, i forgot you were in that one haha..
Matthew Hernandez Comment by Matthew Hernandez on November 10, 2009 at 3:05am
You think that was Push's only problem. How about the sloppy mythology for one. Nobody in that movie set any concrete limitations for the superpowers involved. The rules of everyone's superpowers were flexible at any point to service the plot.
