We've got a brand new trailer for Warner Bros. Sherlock Holmes, coming to theaters on Christmas Day. Check it out below:
The film, directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams and Mark Strong, finds the beloved Detective Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson engaged in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.
This movie looks like a lot of fun! I'll definately check it out. It's definately a new spin on the SH character with all the action but even the original character got his hands "dirty" from time to time.
@ Nick. Yes, because it's a MOVIE. Does it need to be true to the books? No, because then it wouldn't be as popular amongst audiences. Guy Ritchie does something he wants to do and hopes people will enjoy, let it be and stop whining.
I must say I was skeptical at first, but seeing some of the chemistry play out between Downey Jr., and Law, and seeing Rachel McAdams nude (sort'a), I have to say that this is the first movie I've been genuinely excited about in a while.
