@Virgil Tibbs It's not the same, because Twilight is aimed at thirteen year old girls who don't understand relationships or what the world is like. She's also been saying that the book is what true love is and all those young girls, who don't know any better, believe every word. That book is despised for good reason and deserves all the hate it gets and the author should be ashamed of herself, especially since her own children, all boys, read those books as well.

Personally I've never understood the big issue with Atheism.  It's a philosophy just like everything else.  My boyfriend is an Atheist, his dad is an uber spiritual Rabbi, I'm also a very spiritual Jew.  People ask me how I can be with someone who rejects the idea of god. It's easy...we communicate and have meaningful discussions about life, spirituality, and god.  I guess for Christians and others the idea of god becomes the lynchpin of their belief, since faith is a tricky concept that goes against reason. Nothing in the Torah/Bible/Qur'an is literal to me, and the main problem seems to be that fundamentalists never take the time to actually delve into the history of what they believe so they can't have conversations with or even fathom ideas outside of what they've been told.

I know what you're saying about having more than 2 kids. I'm the oldest of 6; we range in age from 20-2. My mom had triplets but one was stillborn so it could've been 7. She also had a miscarriage 10 years ago. That is some first hand birth control for your ass.
