I have to agree with every complaint the crew had. The film may be short, but I was ready to leave at the halfway point. The characters are boring, but I am realized that the villian was not a huge racial sterevotype.

i actually wanna see what would happen if it was china attacked U.S, cuz so far i dont think theres actually a decent movie about that... it would at least be something new lol. theres plenty of films about U.S and North Korea and to be honest, its getting kinda damn boring

@Josh Truff Bullshit. There was a US wargame post 9-11 where the group without the tech was able to beat the group with the tech by just using old school tactics for communications.

While I think the premise of this Red Dawn is pretty stupid (whether is was the original - laughable - concept of China or the ret-conned and laughable use of North Korea), I think people haven't watched the original as an adult, because it's not the mindless propagandist action schlock that it is so often labeled.

@Shane Brake if they could emp an entire country and then strike it they would most likely plow through and wreck any country noone would be safe. Communication and technology is what wins wars not guns or people. I always thought homefront had a great plot just the gameplay was lacking. There are defenses against emp waves so not everything would be taken out. Ha james bond's new gun would no longer shoot though. Anyway the people with vehicles/air advantage would most likely come out on top. If it was possible to do a large emp strike it would basically send the country back 200 years with some obvious exceptions. Maybe you are just laughing at the possibility of a country wide emp strike which is fine but you shouldn't be laughing at how screwed you would be after having all your circuits fry at the same time.
