Red Band Trailer For 'The Watch'
When the teaser for
Akiva Schaffer's
'The Watch' (formerly 'Neighborhood Watch') hit the web, it was extremely unclear what the plot of the film would actually be. All we knew was that Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade ('The IT Crowd') were members of a, fittingly, neighborhood watch. This latest red band trailer, while satisfyingly filthy, also gives us much more insight into the core concept: aliens. It sort of feels like a grownup version of 'Attack the Block.' I dunno. I will say this: I didn't laugh until the end with the cow. But I laughed really hard. It seems at the very least to be something worth keeping an eye on, at least until it comes out and we know a little more about it.
