As a Montrealer, I can say that Cyrus totally got it right! Also, if you want to check out some amazing Quebecois cinema, I highly recommend "Incendies", which I think also got nominated for best foreign film in 2010 or 2011.

It's amazing how the trailer doesn't indicate anything about the suicide and the kids' and faculty dealing with it.
