There's a great old Corman version of "The Raven," which has nothing to do w/ Poe's "The Raven," w/ Vincent Price & Boris Karloff (& one of Jack Nicholson's first roles)

Poor Edgar deserves better considering the enormous impact he's had on our culture.  I've only seen one good adaption of any of his works and it's this:

i always say it and i will say it again NO ONE BUT Jeffrey Combs should be allowed to play Edgar Allan Poe. I completely agree with co-host, he was phenomenal in Nevermore: An evening with Edgar Allan Poe and now he's the only man i can picture playing Poe.
