Avengers Assemble - The Loading Bar Happy Hour

Marvel has pulled off an amazing feat. Four superhero franchises - Iron Man, Hulk,Thor, and Captain America - each with their own film yet connected in a way that leads up to one mega-blockbuster summer movie. SO WHEN IS THAT AVENGERS GAME COMING OUT?!

It seems that would make sense. After all, these superheroes also had their own individual games. Why not bring them together in one epic adventure on our Xbox or Playstation 3? In anticipation of the The Avengers movie coming out this Friday, we attempt to answer this question. Each day we'll post a playthrough featuring a one of the four video game movie tie-ins, starting with Iron Man.

All we can say is, be careful what you ask for...

So why didn't they just play marvel ultimate alliance 2 with avengers characters?

@son of wolverine: Well, Sega's Incredible Hulk game directly rips off Radical Entertainment's Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, which was made using the Titanium Engine. After H:UD, and losing the Hulk license, Radical's made Prototype using that same engine. Radical actually said in most interviews that Prototype was essentially that game's spiritual successor. There are even rumours that the first Prototype started off as Ultimate Destruction 2.

So it makes sense that Sega's Incredible Hulk would feel like the Prototype games; they all basically directly borrow concepts, gameplay and ideas from the prior title, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

LIke other people would say the incredible hulk game feels like Prototype 2 but the hulk game was fun

They had the right mindset with Captain America, if youre gonna rip-off something. Rip-off the best.
