Sabretooth posted a statusNow that we've reached the week of 'The Avengers' release, I can start refocusing my attention to the other hugely anticipated 2012 summer movie: Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises.' It was recently announced that there would be a brand new trailer for 'TDKR,' in front of 'The Avengers,' but you don't even have to wait until Friday to see it. The brand new trailer just hit the web and it features a ton of new footage. Batman's flying vehicles, Catwoman kicking ass, and a clearly remixed Bane voice are but a few of the revelations offered. I feel I must once again futilely ask, is it July yet? Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.
'The Dark Knight Rises' hits theaters July 20th

Comment by Mikey B. on May 1, 2012 at 2:03pm You know what this trailer needs? A truck flip.
It doesn't have the same impact the "Dark Knight" trailers had when they came out. It tries to show to much of the new characters and less about the story.

@OdO - It's basically a smaller version of a harrier jet / helicopter. If you look close when it flips over towards the screen, you can see that it has two propellors on the bottom of it (to create vertical flight) and it has two jet engines on arms at the front of the vehicle (to create horizontal flight). So basically, it's a jet powered helicopter. Not that far of a stretch, really. Means it can really book it when he needs speed (because of the jet engines), but he can also hover like a helicopter.

Well, it is 10 years in the future, if that helps at all.
Comment by Mr. Robinson on May 1, 2012 at 1:51pm When I saw this trailer I first thought "awesome", and then I thought "So Spill Crew you wanna take back what you said about Batman not dying". I personally think Nolan might do it. You guys did say DC won't allow it (by the way I still HATE that new logo), but who's making the movie and the money?
Comment by Dredd on May 1, 2012 at 1:44pm I didn't like this trailer that much. Just don't feel that it has the emotional impact of the previous one, though I did like the part where Batman says that he hasn't given everything yet. I really wish that they go for a dark ending, maybe with Batman dying to save Gotham. Fat chance I know, but that would be the perfect ending imo. A Christ-like Batman, dying for Gotham's sins and finishing the work his father had started.

Comment by chubblicious on May 1, 2012 at 1:10pm good trailer till the end, the joke was awful
It's a good thing I saw this now, otherwise I would be dryhumping the screen when I watch the Avengers on Thursday
Comment by CPW2007 on May 1, 2012 at 1:01pm It is amazing guys. Not every trailer has to look like it was directed by Michael Bay. This trailer's emotional impact is much deeper and thoughtful.
So, JGL is the new Batman? I guess the "reboot" Nolan is scheduled to Produce may not be a Reboot after all. Nolan might be already picking his Justice League members...
