New Viral Marketing For 'The Dark Knight Rises'
Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises' is no stranger to the viral marketing campaign. Last December we saw a leaked document, purportedly from the CIA, reporting that a prominent nuclear scientist (a character in the film) had gone missing. This latest batch is from the Gotham PD. The documents include a wanted poster and warrant for the arrest of John Doe, alias The Batman. There are also rolls of film that, when developed, reveal what appear to be clips from the new trailer, which is set to premiere later this week as well as in theaters before 'The Avengers.'
