I watched both this and The Raid last night and I think it's really unfair to compare them because they are both good in their own ways. Also, I totally agree with Leon. We jump on American actions movies all the time for doing stupid shit, but when a foreign action film does pretty much the same thing it's considered genius. Huh?

OMG The Man From Nowhere! It's so bad ass, especially the knife fights!

You guys reviewing these films suck so hard I could stick my dick out of a space ship air lock and the vastness of space ripping my cock off would be a better fate than listening to this swill.

Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Two films before Hollywood got a hold of him and he still acted in his films

This is a matinee...it's a big enough movie that it benefits from being seen in a theater, for sure. I'd go so far as to say that this belongs in a unique category - if you're going to bother watching this, watch it in a theater.

It's got some odd moments - definitely an asian action movie quality plot - but it's decent. Stathem acts a bit and actually shows a bit of range beyond "heartless eastend cyborg," but it doesn't quite get into hammy territory.

This is also a well photographed movie, you can't deny it - the action scenes are explicable, the camera shake is limited to just enough, the editing is pretty tight - I think it managed to edge above the straight to home market.

Dumb and fun is a whole genre now.

Nothing wrong with going bald folks, some of the best actors have done it.  Sean Connery, Patrick Stewart, Bruce Willis. Come to think about it almost all the true bad ass's in film are.  The Transporter films are amazeing I honestly have no idea how you can consider yourself a Jason Statham fan and not love all 3.

Statham needs that "JCVD" moment before it's too late... and Rogaine is recommended (or it's not working).
