Sure, 'The Avengers' and 'The Dark Knight Rises' are eagerly anticipated, and that's great and all. But for me, 2012 is simply the year we get another Quentin Tarantino film! If you could bottle my excitement over 'Django Unchained,' I'm pretty sure it would power a city block for a week...well, maybe a city block in a third world country, but a city block nonetheless. Today, two brand spankin' new images from the film hit the web. The first shows Leonardo DiCaprio wielding a hammer and a fancy haircut, and the second gives us a glimpse of the partnership between Dr. King Schultz (Chrisoph Waltz) and Django himself (Jamie Foxx). Awesome! Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.

'Django Unchained' will be released December 25th

@whitewizard

Yes, too often we forget the white man's plight when considering history.

I mean, gee, gosh, why can't we have a handsome protagonist slave trader? Or a movie that portrays the Klan as the righteous lawmen they were! Birth of a Nation was so long ago. People forget!

*That was sarcasm by the way. Ya prick.

Rather colorful

uuuuuuuh, what now?

It's a slave story and those are mostly very good. Does Spartacus (the movie, haven't seen the show) tell you how terrible you are for being white?

Get some perspective. As someone from "good ol' germany" I, for example, LOVED Inglorious Basterds and seeing all those Nazis getting whacked was a major part in that...

yep i can not wait to thank and pay hollywood for the educational lesson that slavery was bad and it was all my white dick's fault. specifically mine, my neighbors and that guy out in ireland. we were all the sole perpetrators who schemed a brand new crime against humanity.

if they do a more punisher man on a revenge mission feel than i wont be as personally outraged but if they go the easy lazy route of just displaying the vulgar, wickedness of white men, and the sorrow of everyone as a slave with a big 10 minute climax then yep screw you. i took american history and seen my fare share of slave and holocaust movies.
