The Loading Bar: Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Event
Alright all you N7 wannabes, time to shake the dust off your Omni-tools and prepare to have your Mattocks kicked alongside The Loading Bar Crew! Commander Jeff-ard and his ragtag bunch of galactic miscreants will be doing a live streaming Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Event this weekend, in time for the release of the 'Resurgence' DLC multiplayer pack (out today - go get you some!):
So how do you join in all the Geth-smashing, Reaper-smacking, Cerebus-bashing fun?
It's simple, all you have to do is:
Add Kungfuski to your Xbox 360 friends list, ProfessorJeff if you're on the PSN or the Origin ID TheProfessorJeff for PC players.
Then just show up at 2:00 PM CST this Saturday, April 14th.
We'll be streaming all the action here live on the site so even if you can't join us, you can at least watch us with awe as we attempt to survive even the easiest of levels! We'll be splitting our time between both consoles, showcasing the new DLC content, and generally getting drunk and arguing about the ending for the millionth time. Fun for all! In the meantime, we want to hear from you - what's your favorite race/class in ME3 multiplayer? Favorite weapon? Favorite zone?

OK it's not just me then I got the same thing, I called the offices no pick up. this wouldn't be that big of a deal if i could just access the whole game but ni dice.

The new characters are pretty awesome and they add different play styles.
Krogan Vanguard w/ Disciple: Charge->Melee/Shoot->Rage->Charge= Unstoppable.
Asari Adept w/ Phalanix: Warp->Throw (Biotic Explosion).

I got the 360 version and after the update today the game freezes when it's "Connecting to the EA servers." Not sure if it's for all platforms but hopefully the problem doesn't last.

PC? Oh, hells yes, I'm joining!
Favorite class? Always loved the tactical cloak and Widow combo, but in all honesty, Salarian Engineer is probably my favorite. Decoy and Shield Drain - Too fun NOT to spam!

Oh yeah, and it's totally worth it to hit someone with a fully charged shot and watch their crumpled form just go flying away haha!

@Indiana Jones - Yeah, it's taking a little getting used to (I'm used to spamming fire with the Raptor, now I have to line my shots up a bit more carefully) but the benefits are incredible! You can 1-shot a Guardian through his shield like a Widow but with a much faster reload time. Plus, if you charge it up, it will actually disrupt the cloak on Geth and Phantoms and fry synthetics. It would probably be better with a stabilizer, but I'm running with a barrel and capacity (which means I rarely need to find an ammo depot).
The downside is that yeah - soooo sloooow. Not only is there a slight lag after you fire, the projectile doesn't move very fast so if your target moves in that window of time, you just wasted a shot. I've started opening with Carnage to get the knock-back effect, then following up with the Kishock as they're wobbling in place.
