Comment by FalseFace on April 2, 2012 at 5:20am Am I the only guy who remembers John Christopher's "The White Mountains" Trilogy? I think that'd be an AWESOME movie franchise to start. I LOVE THOSE BOOKS. Look them up!

Let's say that there's a small hole in your sock. If you put one stitch in it to close it now, then you won't have to do nine stitches if you had waited and the hole got bigger. A stitch, in time, saves nine.

Umm... I don't think you meant patriarch. I'm just saying, I don't think that means what you think it means. Do you mean protagonist?
Comment by E.Nygma on April 1, 2012 at 7:13pm Where can I get the sheet music/score for the LEOG opening theme?
Comment by Dr. Detfink on April 1, 2012 at 1:49pm Cyrus and Leon pretty much nailed all my discrepancies with the Hunger Games film adaptation. However thanks to Leon reminding me of Sucker Punch, I think Katniss is one of a finite number of strong female patriarchs that wasn't horribly miscast or perverted...so far.
Good luck with the brewery, Grant! :)
working hard on a project for LoungeGeeks.com... might be too distracted to type but I can certainly get in my weekly ...
- - - LEOG LISTENING! p1. - - -
00:01 - Ah the Piano theme. So nice.
04:50 - Whoa, you don't often hear a negative plug. Fuck this guy.
Re: Ft. Lauderdale to Miami - both cities aren't terribly far from each other, it shouldn't be that bad of a drive (but of course, still try to get a lift from a Local Spillio cuz hey! you know, Spillios are cool)
- - - Holy Shit, Pt. 2 already? I'll just continue this post, then. I didn't have much to comment/add on this first part. Pretty much agreed with everything.- - -
51:21 - Rubio's right, I think I remember reading somewhere that... it's like when someone own's the controlling share of stock of a company, they pretty much own the company. You have more than a certain amount of different races on an entertainment crew, you can pretty much run the gamut on racist humor.
1:00:38 - Nice.
1:00:50 - A Racist Overtone Quota? With Temple of Doom, I believe it.
1:01:43 - LOL
1:05:14 - Oh, I've rented cars from them.
1:17:26 - HAHAHAHA
1:17:46 - I wouldn't be surprised if it was freaking remade as a PG-13
1:19:14 - It'll all just be shot via web-cam. and cell phone. and it'll be a found footage movie about a psychic teena...WAITAMINIT....
1:19:51 - Huh... OK, Boys Don't Cry was damn good... maybe this'll be all right?
1:26:25 - I haven't seen the "Trailer for a trailer" but in my mind's eye I'm seeing it like, Editors being filmed by steady cam (Office-Style) looking at the camera saying "yeah, we're cutting the film and the trailer right now..." then BA-DOOOMMMM!!! TRAILER FOR TOTAL RECALL!!! COMING SOON!!!
OR... something along the lines of "The story of the story of the story of Everest"
1:34:50 - Eating a guy named Sherman while fucking a Sherman Tank.
1:36:17 - Egg Cremes, Dental Dams, Fuck Tanks, Cherry Phosphates...... AVENGERS.
1:38:37 - Holy Shit - - Jon Parsons...
1:39:10 - Well you look at how some artists draw him... could very well be. there's not much of a bulge in those purple pants.

Comment by Gundam Joe on April 1, 2012 at 10:23am Hey John, Love ya man, that hulk thing was not something I needed to listen to at work, because I was pretty much crying through it.
Also, I really am not looking forward to a lone Wolf & cub movie, even if it was the best thing Kazuo Koike made. I've read and watched some of his other stuff, like Mad Bull 34 (ask Harris about it), and read Wounded Man, which is the worst manga I've ever read, and the worst thing. Just the worst thing.
To illustrate how awful Wounded Man is, in the second chapter, the main character has a naked woman who is tied to a log he has pulled up so she is above his head, and tells her to "Pee in my eyes to get the blood out." My brain shut off for a second after I typed that in some form of mental defense to keep me from remember the rest of that series, as it gets worse then that. Yes, the line, "I need you to pee in my eyes to get the blood out," would be considered the climax of the good in that series.
Comment by Robert Watt on April 1, 2012 at 8:56am Is captain America going Trick or Treating? WTF were they thinking? The previous one was way better, but no way am I not missing the Avengers movie. To those who doesn't want to see the Hunger Games, see it because it's nothing like Twilight, it's way better. I never read the books, and you don't need to read the books to enjoy the movie.
