i enjoyed the film, but the movie was in no way great, I never really cared about Andrew as a character like when he does nothing to get his life together and just blames everyone else. It also never really helps his case when he makes people uncomfortable when he is VIDEO TAPING EVERYTHING! seriously put the camera away. all in all this film was a low matinee and is one of the better found footage films i have seen, espcially when it actually has an ending.

growing up as a socially awkward teen and going to the same high school as my cousin, I could really relate to the Andrew character. its hard growing up and its NOT easier having socially anxiety, abusive home, a slowly dying parent, and a relative in your school who is popular and pretends not to know you or doesn't want to be seen with you at school. juggle all that ON TOP of "normal" hormone driven teenage emotions and it extremely hard give that same individual telekenesis and you have the perfect storm... andrew was a product of all these things, if you cant relate to him most likely because you are/were popular in HS and don't know what it feels like to be a social outcast.

I enjoyed this movie. I did have some problems with minor things, unanswered questions and some plot holes, but if they make a sequel maybe they will be answered. The special effects where great and better than I excepted. I liked all three kids and how close they became and the downfall.

No Reason to turn bad? Are you for real? 
SPOILERS
When everyone in the world is against you (in his view) and you feel worst being at home.  The only one you love dead ... and the person hate the most blames it all on you. 
In Andrew's view, All he try to do was to save his mom, and the police end up being against him also.

Guess what ... he fought back.

I hope for a sequel ... just don't focus on Matt.
Since the thing is still unknown & government has the thing now ... infinite possibilities.

Let hope the movie can break some January records.

really awesome flick! 

an amazing new take on the superhero genre without resorting to previous source material

having amazing ablilties at your disposal can test the best of each of us

you also really sympathize with these characters Andrew you feel for the most althought I thought it was overbearing at times ...

still, this is a story of being a social pariah, growing up as a young adult and how the power of revenge eventually can get the better of you

 all that power can be easily corrupted if the wrong buttons are pushed

this is one of the better found-foootage material the 3rd act is a bit predicatable but the ending will definitely shock

you cant wait for the sequel!

Don't think this movie was amazing but it was good. I LOVED the way the movie took place from a ton of different cameras instead of just one that happened to be held the whole time. However, Andrew's anger towards his cousin and Steve was kinda unrealistic. I find that if someone had just told Andrew how antisocial he was being before he had gotten his powers he would understand why nobody wanted to be his friend. I'd still give it a low full price / high matinee.

There were two bad things and very bad ones to me ... ok it is my oppinion andrew had no reason to turn bad and go against his freinds and he was annoying to look at and he was a big coward when he got the powers now he started to defend himself and was taking advantage of his powers I still liked it but not as much as every one else it was a very high matinee to a low full price those were my only problem but I lke the grey a lot more than this both I highly recomend to watch at the theater both great movies.
