god man don't bring up batman and robin that awful piece of shit.it killed batman and they didn't make another one for almost 10 years at least movies that is.we still had cartoons and comics.its funny that the same guy who directed movies like the lost boys,falling down and a time to kill squeezed out this turd.

Don't I know it, Jason. But I laugh now thinking my embarrassment was unwarranted as she absolutely loved that movie. It just makes me realize how subjective taste and art is. This is the one reason why I think the Greeks have the Gods thing correct because only Zeus would get a kick out of watching mortals fight about what movie sucks or rules. If Clash of the Titans has taught me anything, it's that. I'll tell you something funny: During Deep Blue Sea, I cringed at Samuel Jackson's "we got to keep together" speech and totally missed out on the shark attack. I said "oh Shit" to myself, closed my eyes (as I did during most of Batman and Robin) and opened them after the large noise wondering where the fuck Samuel Jackson went. While McGruber warranted solid cringing, one's got to be careful WHEN they cringe.

as far as i got in the movie is where mcgruber said on his knees he was going to suck a guys dick.Which might be funny if he where funny.the rest of the movie was stupid stupid stupid,wrong,wrong,very wrong or oh my god shot me.and man you where wrong for suggesting this movie.i know why she thought it was hilarious because her brain was being sucked out of her head because the movie suck so bad.your cringing was a way of resisting the suck factor

Jason, I took a friend to see McGruber (sans seeing a review) because we wanted some laughs. I fucking cringed from the beginning to the very end and I felt so bad I suggested the movie. Turns out she thought it was hilarious. Who knew. Still, I think it's one of the most desperate comedies I have ever seen. You don't blow up Val Kilmer's dick, shoot him off the edge of a cliff and urinate on his corpse if you're not a chromosome short of having a cerebelum.
