Maybe it's just me, but it seems like forever since I've seen Robin Wright Penn in anything. Just a few weeks ago I got to see her latest film 'The Private Lives of Pippa Lee', which she is the main lead. The film was written and directed by Rebecca Miller who is the daughter of play writer Arthur Miller and wife of Daniel Day Lewis. 'Pippa Lee' was originally a book written… Continue

Hey Kiddies!
So it’s October, which means cold weather, dead plants, and HALLOWEEN!!! It also means that horror movies should be playing in rotation on TV, or you should be getting in the holiday spirit by watching them. Some of you like myself have grown out of the whole trick-or-treating ordeal. Instead you may be out at a party or stuck with dishin… Continue

This review may be a little late but I feel like I need to get my feelings out on the movie ‘Whiteout’. What the hell man! I felt like I was in the theater for about 45min and then it was all over! Maybe that’s actually a good thing with this movie? I was on the fence about the film after I had gotten out of the theater but now that I’ve given it two weeks I just don’t get it.
I should have kno… Continue

Am I seriously the only one that actually liked Jennifer’s Body? I know that it had its flaws especially in the story alone, but I don’t see why most people are writing this movie off altogether. I for one found it to be entertaining and loved the whole horror/ comedy aspect of the film. Even though I found it to have more comedy then horror. Maybe I’m just weird like that and prefer to see som… Continue
Just this year I saw the remake of My Bloody Valentine 3D, but I had never seen the original 1981 version. My Bloody Valentine was/is your typical 80's slasher movie; trying to ride the coat tails at that time of 'Halloween' and 'Friday the 13th'. (both of which have gotten remakes as well) Before hearing about the 3D remake I had personally never heard of this movie before.… Continue

I fell asleep 15 minutes into this movie the first time I tried to watch it. The second time I fell asleep 5 minutes into it then woke up watched another 10 minutes before I passed back out. Third try could be a charm but I really don't think I'll ever watch this movie again unless I have trouble going to sleep. Continue

It seems like a summer movie tradition that there is always an Adam Sandler movie that comes out. This year Sandler's tradition continues with the Judd Apatow movie 'Funny People'. There's just two problems: one Sandler's movies haven't been good for years & two they should have changed the title cause funny this movie is not. In fact I barley made a chuckle during this film. I was a bit di… Continue

Maybe someone should show this movie to Brad & Angelina, this movie just might stop then from ever adopting again. But all kidding aside I originally had no intentions of going to see this movie. They had already made a movie like this back in the 90's with Mcauley Culkin called 'The Good Son'. Why do I want to see a horror/thriller movie in the middle of the summer blockbuster season? Well… Continue

I just watched this movie called 'The Informers', and I really don't know what the whole point of the entire film was? It's a big assembly piece that contains a bunch of widely known actors (Mickey Rourke, Kim Basinger, Winona Ryder, Billy Bob Thorton, & Brad Renfro) and some unknown actors. Unfortunately they give most of the screen time to the unknown actors who really can't act. And less… Continue
When I first heard that a fourth Terminator movie was going to be done I have to admit I wasn’t all that thrilled. The third one left a bad taste in my mouth, and I’m sure in a lot of others as well. I wasn’t thrilled with McG being the director; I haven’t really liked any of his work so far that would convince me that he was the man for the job. The only glimmer of hope that I saw out of this… Continue

Ok, believe me when I say this... the movie was awesome! Excuse the cheesy pun but it really was one hell of a ride watching it. Previously the only Sam Raimi film that I really loved was the very first Evil Dead movie. I do like the first two Spider-Man movies but Bruce Campbell is the man! And just a warning, don't bother waiting around for a cameo by Campbell cause you will be disappointed. But if you are… Continue

I am not a Trekie, I don't speak Vulcan, and I've never seen a full episode of the original Star Trek series. Though I have seen bits and pieces of Next Generation when it was on in the 90's. If you showed me a picture of Spock thats basically all I could tell you; his name is Spock and he's on that old 60's tv show. Naturally I wouldn't really care about an old tv show being turned into a reva… Continue

Matt, Jack & Jon are three eloquent young gents. They philosophize, externalize, and harmonize on the most pressing subjects of the modern age. Actually, they mostly just talk about movies and current events, but the presentation is what counts.
