A time of reflection for me. All in all it's been a good year. I can't really complain. Yes I have career uncertainty in 2009 but I'm more excited than upset. Whatever happens it'll be an opportunity to learn something. I have to look at it this way. I'm in a weird place with that. I'm kind of morning the loss of the team I work with because all in all I've never worked with a better group of people. That's sad for me. But I embrace whatever lies ahead.

M. Night Shyamalan has burned me on more than one occasion. I walked out of The Village ready to kick his ass and steal my money back from his pockets. M. Work man. I've been busy. Craziness has ensued at my office between coworkers. Two of them were "let go" due to budget constraints...yeah right. I am loving this show. The psych major in me is. This is why I didn't go on to do therapy. My favorite patient is Laura who is in love with her therapist Gabriel Byrne. We went all today, ran errands and had lunch at Houlihans'. I forgot that I had taken a Zyretec a couple of hours before and had a glass of wine at lunch. So today has been good so far. I thought I'd get to leave early and come home and sleep. I'm still sick and rest seems to be helping. My doctor said it was allergies OR an upper respiratory infection ...duh! I knew that. I had to come into work to see some clients...or I would have called in.

I just got back from AC. Stayed at Bally's but next time I'm going to my regular spot, the Holiday Inn Express off the White Horse Turnpike. I thought staying at Bally's would be good because we'd be right in a casino and I could get right down to playing poker. Our room sucked..they put us in the Claridge Towers and I'd rather stay at the Holiday Inn Express.
