The Forbidden King debuted #1 at the box office this weekend, earning $20.8 million. The film also had the highest per theater average of any in the top ten with $6,623 per theater.

Im going to make this review short. The film starts off with a decently effective sequence, as freshman Donna Keppel (Snow) comes home one night to find an obsessive science teacher, Richard Fenton (Schaech), has killed her father and brother, apparently in an attempt to woo her over. 300 Director Set For Guardians of Ga'Hoole
Zack Snyder (300) is set to direct Guardians of Ga'Hoole, an animation based on the children's books by Kathryn Lasky.
The movie is set in the Forest of Tyto, where the Barn Owls live in peace and feathery harmony - until their kingdom is threatened by an evil that seeks to destroy their home.
