Smoking in movies

Although not set in stone, I heard on the radio that from now on, smoking will make a movie, no matter the intended audience, will be given an adult rating. Movies that have already been released with smoking with of course be overlooked but now, to "protect the children" smoking any type of substance will be ONLY for adults. I can understand this but at the end of the the movie "Thank you for Smoking" there was a joke that the government was going to change the classic movies to cut out smoki… Continue

Worried to see Watchmen

I have not seen the movie yet at this point. I am in no means one of the true fans of the book. The reason for this is that I had always known about it but I didn’t read it until I saw the teaser for the movie. But after I saw this I put down whatever Batman book I was reading, went to my local comic book store and coughed up the £15. I then booked a day off work and sat down to read it. Wall E Movie Review by RevoluShaun™

Wall-E is one of those motion pictures that are advertised to death and raped by toy makers in order to gross mass amounts of profits and cooperate dollars, but still deep within the foundations of the film lies a message that is still as important as it is hidden. During the course of Wall-E's adventure all he is really trying to do is hold EVE's hand. Its… Continue

The Dark Knight Movie Review by RevoluShaun™

TERRIBLE FUCKING MOVIE! Ha! Of course i am joking. Every once in a while a movie arrives that is so surrounded in hype and that you really cannot wait to see, your almost worried about seeing it in case it doesn't live up to the expectations you were hoping for. I still had bad memories from The Phantom Menace, the Matrix sequels and Spiderman 3 echoing through my mind. With this in mind I still reserved my ticket 2 weeks before it opened for the midnight showing so i could see it after i arrive… Continue

Juno Movie Review by RevoluShaun™

OK, this review is going to be slightly bias due to the situation at the time but i think to understand the reason why i love it so much i should tell you the story of how i came to watch it. I was dating this girl, a beautiful Caribbean/British girl who I adored. She worked in an Odeon cinema in west London when this was out and i came into work to kinda mooch some free screenings out of her, i wanted to see Cloverfeild but i had got there early so the guy asked me if i wanted to go wait for i… Continue
