I said a few posts ago, that my sole reason for loving every Saw film was not because they were good, or intelligent, or at times made any sense, but because of the 80's horror cheese feeling that I get every time I watch one.
This film is both.
Saw VI is the directorial debu… Continue

The fall TV season is always jam packed with new series and shows coming in for another season. With all the madness, a couple of shows are sure to get axed, but these are the three shows that I'll be supporting.
How I Met Your Mother (Season 5)
"How I Met Your Mother" is a series that I didn't catch until this sum… Continue
Well, let's face it. All but one of the Harry Potter books have been adapted into films by this point, and there are two films left to be released. So, I'm certain that all of the big movie studios are going to be scrambling to find the next big Novel-Gone-Film franchise.
Twilight is considered the next Harry Potter (Despite my cries of anger), but let's face it; with how quickly Summit Entertainment is shoving these things out, it'll be over before Harry Potter is. I mean, they haven't green l… Continue
As a few of you know, a while back, I made a group called "The Official Spill Fan Art Group", after listening to LDT!!!, and hearing them say that they needed a place to put the fan art.
Well, it's been a mess. I was just posting any fan art that was placed in the group into the text box, and it was a pain to go through it all.
So, I finally decided to give it a long overdue update, by going through and categorizing the art by who's in it. Click the links below to be taken to those discussions… Continue
When I had first heard about this film revolving around rag dolls trying to survive an apocalyptic future overrun with machines, you can imagine my skepticisms.
However, I then saw this:
I was blown away by this, as I hope you were. I ha… Continue

I hear ACOCO, and Korey and Carlyle brought up the fact that there could be a Joker spin-off, and apparently, Korey wants one, and Carlyle gave the idea a big thumbs down.
I have to say, that I 100% agree with Carlyle. There is almost no way that this kind of film would ever work.… Continue
Some thrillers settle into a rut of adequacy, rarely spiking above or below the baseline. Not "The International." Director Tom Tykwer's new picture is all over the place, geographically and in terms of audience satisfaction. It's a case of creative interpreters worki… Continue

I loved this film.
I don't care if no one else did, I loved every minute of it.
This film revolves around a plethora of super beings with all kinds of crazy powers, that inevitably lead up to some kick ass fight scenes.

Well, I finally got around to watching Ghost Town, and while it was not so much as a comedy as it was one of those sappy love films, it was a decent film. I loved the main ghost named Frank, who was really obnoxious and made you want to punch him, but at the same time made you want to have a drink with him.
It has a really nice moral to it, and it is a pretty funny film as well. I would recommend it to just about anyone.
This is a short review, because I really cannot find anything bad about it.… Continue

Hey guys, Palmer here, reviewing the film, The Wackness.
Yeah, you laughed huh? Well, that is the real title my friends, it is no joke. And just wait till you here the dialog that establishes that title.
For those of you whom have never heard of this film, this is what happened to that little chubby kid from the Amanda Show, Josh Peck, when he grew up, lost 200 pounds, and stopped filming Drake and Josh episodes.
In this film, Josh plays a teenager going through rough financial times with his fa… Continue

With the next Terminator film on the way, I've got to say, it sure is looking up to be an amazing film. Judging by the trailer, it looks like the Terminator film that I always wanted to see.
Rather than another attempt at stopping Judgment Day from arriving, this is a film about the actual war between mankind and the terminators. It's shaping up to be one hell of a flick.
But what if it's not as good as it's hyped up to be. After all, when I heard all of the great reviews for Tropic Thunder, I w… Continue
SPOILER ALERT!
Now, I am not giving away anything big about the film, like the ending, or a shocking plot twist, but there are people who I have met who do not like to know the villain until the trailer comes out.
So, if you are one of those people....
Turn Away....
NOW!!!!
You gone?
Still here?
Okay.
The Villain is the Fallen. Yeah. The title refers to an old Transformer from the comics who never made an appearance in the cartoon. He was one of the original 13 transformers, and appar… Continue
Burn after Reading has gotten mixed reviews, mostly negative. Considering the fact that this film directly follows up No Country for Old Men, my favorite film of 2007, the criticism doesn't surprise me. But on it's own merits, Burn After Reading is a very entertaining film. The movie's about an analyst, Osborne Cox (played by John Malkovich) who resorts to writing a memoir after being fired. His wife (Tilda Swinton) is sleeping with George Clooney's character and wants to secure a possible divor… Continue
Hey there, everyone. Palmer here. Welcome to yet another movie review: a review of Richard Kelly's follow-up to Donnie Darko, Southland Tales. This runs a little long. I apologize. A lot of you probably don't know about this film, and if you do, it was probably by skimming through Blockbuster, spotting the cover and thinking to yourself: "What a shame. The Rock and Stiffler were in a direct-to-dvd movie." So let me start with a little back story behind the film. Richard Kelly's first film "Donni… Continue
Let me first warn you that this review contains descriptions of gruesome acts of violence. So read with caution. But believe me when I say that my intentions are good; I'm just as offended as you will be.
I'm not the first internet geek to bash Uwe Boll. Uwe is the most reviled director in all of the internet community. But I don't find him deserving of the "Worst Director Alive" medal. The first reason is that there's a particular directing team that makes Boll look like Orson Wells in compari… Continue
WOW
After seeing this film, that's all I can say.
This is probably the most polarizing film of 2008. People either embraced the originality of the concept, or they despised the clichéd execution. As for me, I was deeply fascinated almost all the way thru. David Fincher crafts this story with delicate pace and structure. I especially love the scene where a serious of simple mistakes that lead to a tragic event. The message behind this is very deep and I think our society needs it now more than ev… Continue
Hey everybody,
Just a few days ago, I posted an entry in the discussion of this list, my Top Favorite 30 films of the last decade. I don’t want to sound like I’m whining about something, but I got the feeling that people are ignoring that discussion…
