For some weird reason, most of the trailers I got when I saw Harry Potter were for animated movies. I just decided to put yet another list up because of that.

Up

It seemed pretty obvious that this would make my list sooner or later. I don't think I need to explain this m…

In response to Seth Rogen's darker role in Observe and Report, I decided to make a list of the people in movies that are a lot more dangerous.
10:
Frank Booth

Appears in:
Blue Velvet
Portrayed by:
Dennis Hopper
Why: Booth is a monstrous, gas-sucking i…

So, this is my next list, which consists of my favorite Sci-Fi movies. I'm alsways a big fan of sci-fi, in fact, most of my dvd collection is sci-fi movies. However, after seeing "Knowing" last week, and seeing that it was pure garbage, I like to compare it to some of the much better ones.

Dark City

After seeing Watchmen, I figure that putting up a post like this would seem appropriate for the week. So I looked over all of the superhero movies I have, and decided to form another list.
10:
Hancock

While this movie did have some negative feedback, I still enjoy…

Even though I still like the movies I had on my list last time, I still think that there are movies that I have watched over and over again, and you know what, I actually prefer these movies over some other ones from the list. There aren't really any huge changes, but it still kind of needs to be like this.
#5:
The Lion King

There are many movies that I have found a bit, or kinda scary. But only ten movies can make me shit my pants. I wonder what you think about it. Let's get started:
10: The Fly

I don't know if this movie really stands out as a horror movie, but it did freak me out. Especi…

I'm not sure if there will be a lot of posts like this, but the nominated movies for Oscars, or any kind of award, areones that I agree deserved a nomination, but some stuff I thought got snubbed. This is my personal Award categories. Some you will think: "Oh, that's the same thing everyone else is saying." Others some might agree or disagree. My top picks are in bold.
Best Overall Picture:
The Dark Knight
Slumdog Millionaire
Frost/Nixon
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Cloverfield…

Now, a while ago, I released a blog that was my "Top 5 All Time Favorite Movies," now it's time to tell you what ones I think are the worst.
5:
Pearl Harbor
One of Michael Bay's shittiest movies (next to Armegeddon). I don't care how cool the action looks in this movie, it means nothing to me without a good storyline, which, this movie decided to take the Titanic route and wrap this whole romantic love story during an american tragedy. I only like action movies if the storyline is goo…

This is already shown on my page by themselves, but I like to go into greater detail of why I love these movies.
Let's Start With:
5:
The Lion King
This is my all time favorite animated movie, making it an automatic part of the 5. I used to watch this movie all the time when I was little. I watch it again at the age I am now, and STILL LOVE IT! Now, you probably already know the plotline to this movie, so there's no point in explaining it. This is a just a movie that I've treated like…

Who's idea was it for the tagline of Tropic Thunder to be "Get Some!"?
Tropic Thunder is about a group of actors that are filming a war movie, and it really isn't turning out that good. The characters include Ben Stiller playing Tugg Speedman, a pampered action star who attempted to turn into a serious actor, with disastrous results, Jack Black playing Jeff 'Fats' Portnoy, a comedian-turned-drug addict well known for playing multiple parts in films, and Robert Downey Jr (of Iron Man fame) playi…

Why did I go see this movie? Because I had to.
Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick O'Connell. This time, his wife Evelyn (Maria Bello instead of Rachel Weisz), and brother-in-law Jonathan (John Hannah) are now retired. But with their son Alex (Luke Ford), they must stop the resurrected tyrannical Han (Jet Li, who I still don't really like), the Dragon Emperor, a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse, and whose army was found by 18-year old Alex. The Emperor now wishes to rebuild his empi…

Alright, my first movie review here is Pineapple Express, and if you're wondering how I saw it, I got sneak preview tickets from my cousin who works at a movie theater.
If you don't know already, Pinapple Express is somewhat a stoner flick. Seth Rogen plays Dale Denton, a lazy stoner who visits his equally lazy dealer, Saul Silver, played by James Franco, to purchase marijuana, specifically a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. By accident, Dale witnesses a murder by a crooked police offi…
