I frequently get into talks about this with my friends, and it came up recently in a discussion here on spill. Or not. As you probably know, the Large Hadron Collider was activated today. People were freaking out, prophesying the end of the world and whatnot. I was having fun with those people, and spreading the word. To those people, I say this: This was just a trial run, where they ran the machine in one direction.
