Sploich Reviews The Tree of Life (2011)
Note: This review is a lot more spoiler-heavy than most of my reviews, but I felt it necessary in order to convey my feelings.
Art films can be good. I'm the last person I'd expect to hear that from, but after watching The Tree of Life I just need to reassure myself. Remember 2001: A Space Odyssey? Sploich Reviews Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
It's disappointingly rare to get a superhero movie that feels and acts like a film first and a popcorn flick second. What's even more pleasantly accepted is a film that balances both of these aspects seamlessly, creating an entertaining experience and an incredible movie in one go.
