Judd Apatow is on the top of the world right now, and tomorrow his new film Funny People comes out, and I can't wait to be first in line. So to get ready to watch the film, I'm having a little Apatow Marthon at my house. This guy has made some of my favorite movies, and some of the memorable characters in movies. I'm not going to deep into his career, like Freaks & Geeks(Witch I still haven't watched), or anything like that, I'm going to talk about my experiences I've had at the movies, waat… Continue

WATCHMEN, arguably the greatest Graphic Novel ever written. It changed the face of comics forever; I remember hanging out at my comic shop waiting for when I had enough money to get the book. Of course being a teenager in this day-in-age, I had never heard of Watchmen until the announcement of the movie. So I got really hyped, and I really wanted to read the book. But hey, you don't want to here me talk about what Watchmen did to me, you’re here to read a review.

You have know idea how many days I'd be sitting there, and there it was my copy of The Dark Knight sitting in front of me saying "Watch me, watch me, FUCKING WATCH M… Continue

I have to say I love the summer; it's a great time for movie. The most enjoyable, big budget, kick-ass movies come out in the summer. And with summer a couple days away (at least that’s what X-Men say) I thought I show the movies I'm looking forward to the most.
Honorable Mention
G.I. Joe(The Real Amarican Hero) The Rise of Cobra
I have to say that when I first Crank I wasn't impressed, I thought it was an enjoyable, forgettable, extremely over the top action movie. It wasn't till I watched it again did I truly fall in love with it, and I had one of the best time I've had watching a movie, and I showed… Continue

The music for The Dark Knight won't be eligible for an Oscar, according to Variety.
The Academy committee will inform principle composers -- Hans Zimmer and James Newton -- that their score for the movie will be disqualified because too many other people were also listed as composers.
Besides Zimmer and Newton, three others are officially on the credits as "composers" -- music editor Alex Gibson, ambient music designer Mel Wesson and composer Lorne Balfe. For a score to be considered by the ac… Continue

Following his recent woes with critics and audiences alike, it's no surprise to hear M. Night Shyamalan is considering revisiting one of his more acclaimed efforts.
He told MTV News that he's thinking about a sequel to possibly his best film, 2000's Unbreakable. The enigmatic helmer said: "I tell you I get asked about it all the time, so it's not (an idea) I ever forget... I genuinely just asked this question the other day - should I make 'Unbreakable 2'?"

According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, Sony has tapped a pair of unidentified writers to script Venom. Mean Creak scribe Jacob Estes had previously hired to pen the screenplay but the studio decided to go in a new direction with different writers.

Mark Millar has spilled the beans to Newsarama about his plans for the sequel to his Wanted adaptation.
He reiterated his pledge not to write a comic book sequel to the original miniseries, saying, "That six issues were the end."
Instead Millar said he would write some new original storylines that fit into the film's universe, but that will also use some of the elements from the original comics that didn't find their way into the first movie.
"It will be some of the stuff that we didn't utili… Continue
