"Dogs of Chinatown" whimpers

It’s not often that one gets to see independent films in my neck of the woods. Usually the university cinema will have a student’s short film festival, but they usually play the night before an exam. Watchmen, your angel of review awaits...

Let’s admit it: Alan Moore is God. OK, he’s more than a little eccentric, but the man is one of the greatest writers alive, and is the author of one of the most famous works of graphic literature ever. One of the entertainment reps thankfully chose that moment to come out to let us know that the wait was almost over, as well as explain exactly why none of us had to pay for 2 hours of awesomeness. Turns out that CBS had sponsore… Continue

On Thursday night after dinner, I saw The Road at the River Oaks theater (which I think is the only theater in town showing the movie, right now). I'll start off with the good points of the film: great story; very moving; well-acted; magnificent c...

Since hip-hop currently is far more popular than it's ever been, should mainstream hip-hop artists(Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Cam'ron, etc.) change the the subject matters they rap about(drugs, women, money, their swag, etc.)? We've seen this during 0...
