Batman: Arkham Asylum review with CH Gorog...

I've been getting pretty damn sick of Batman. From the rabid fanboys slobbering over any information over the sequel to The Dark Knight to Batman's WTH departure from the comic world (for a while at least), I haven't exactly been deprived of seeing the caped crusader in my life. When I heard that a new video game would star the Dark Knight, I wasn't exactly thrilled since his past endeavors in video games have usually been the equivalent of… Continue

VGE: Inglorious Bastards and District 9...

Welcome to Video Game Equivalent, where I try to find you an equal to a movie, book, show, or comic in video game form.

Hey, Spillions! Quentin Tarantino's latest movie delves into the minds of World War II soldiers as they, extremely inaccurately I might add, attempt to take down Hitler himself. This War film, of sorts, also contains a strong… Continue

Graphic novels, the bullshit synonym for Comic Books...

My fellow nerds and Spillions who give a crap, lend me your ears; it's time to realize the truth of this pitiful situation. As you may or may not be aware, graphic novels have become the popular alternative name for a comic book, and honestly I couldn't be more unimpressed at this shift. Do you really think that renaming a medium will make it any more appealing? I don't call video games synergistic novels, except for jesting, because you know what, they aren't!…

It seems that Paramount Studios' vice chairman Rob Moore is pushing for a sequel to the $100 million grossed movie, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

According to a recent interview, Moore "confirmed that a sequel will soon go into development. The film's lead actors are contractually obligated to return for another film, though director Stephen Sommers is not."

So, what say you Spillions, do you want to see… Continue

Welcome to Video Game Equivalent, where I try to find you an equal to a movie, book, show, or comic in video game form.

Hello there, minions. Today I will be doing a VGE on the popular toy series, GI Joe which has since spawned a cartoon series and a live action movie. "But my sexy lord," you say, "Video game (synergistic novels) are a… Continue

A Third Riddick movie in the works?

Source: http://movies.ign.com/articles/100/1009997p1.html

In appears that director David Twohy has told ShockTIllYouDrop that he and franchise actor Vin Diesel have been in regular talks about making the third installment of the Riddick franchise.

According to Twohy, they will be making a Riddick film that is scaled back to satisfy their craving for an R-rating rather than giving into the studios suggestion of a PG-13 film.

Twohy has been reported to say, "If we… Continue

Well, what do you know? Hell has frozen over. It appears that Iron Man and Wolverine will be making the jump from Western comics to Eastern anime. Announced at comic-con, these initial designs in these teasers are the prototypes for how the show will look like. It appears that they are taking new directions in terms of style.

"Each series will have 12 30-minute… Continue
