Update on Kick-Ass movie adaptation cast...

Source: IGN.com

Along with Christopher Kintz-Plasse (McLovin) already on board, the roster for the comic-book movie adaptation is already starting to fill up as Nicolas Cage, Chloe Moretz, Aaron Johnson and Lyndsy Fonseca join the cast.

Johnson will play the titular character Dave Lizewski, who takes on crime as a teenaged superhero. Cage will play a former cop going who is going after a druglord and trains his daughter (Moretz) to become a 'lethal weapon'. And Fonseca… Continue

Samuel L (Mother****n) Jackson re-teaming with Lucas?

Source: http://movies.ign.com/articles/900/900274p1.html

Apparently, the dear snake charmer that we all know and love is considering joining up with old George Lucas to make a movie based on the accomplishments of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II - and possibly direct the film himself.

"I just read it like two weeks ago. It's a pretty good script," Jackson began. "At one point (Lucas) was asking me if I'd ever want to direct anything. I said, 'I don't know,… Continue

Top Five video games stories that can rival the best movies...

(Goddamn I need to work on titles)

As we've seen the proverbial rise and fall of the underwear stain known as Star Wars: The Clone Wars in theaters, I looked forward to the Spill Crew's unkind damnations toward the film. While I did enjoy the crews' rants against the piece of garbage, Leon (being the agitator of most of my misery in this world, obviously), revealed that he was surprised that the story with potential, the video game The Force Unleashed, was more… Continue

Top Ten best actors in graphic-novel based movies...

We all know that Heath Ledger basically kicked ass as the Joker, no question. Better than Jack Nicholson and his egotistical ass. Let's not forget Mr. Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark) himself who gave a fantastic performance, as well. These thoughts got me wondering: "Who has been perfectly cast as their graphic novel counter-part?" I then decided to pile together a list of my top ten favorite actors who portrayed characters in comic-book based movies (sans Dark Knight, Iron Man,… Continue

In Response to Leon: Green Arrow movie, possible?

I'm sorry to say this Leon, but if you thought the Avenger movie is going to be nearly impossible to make, then there is no way in hell you actually believe this can come into fruition.

Having villains like Lex Luthor or (especially) the Joker as in-mates to help aid the Green Arrow is going to be difficult as the public has pretty much accepted the standard of the actors who portray those characters (Kevin Spacey and Heath Ledger respectively) and anything else would seem like a… Continue

Frisky Dingo Season 1 DVD review

How many shows do you know of rely on archaic references such as Harrison Bergeron, or deal with financially deprived supervillains, or disscuss the usage of minority business loans, or focus an entire line of jokes merely on Haggar brand pants? I thought so. Well, fellow Spillians, welcome to the wacky and mixed-up world of Frisky Dingo.

Made by Matt Thompson and Adam Reed, co-creators of Sealab 2021, is the story of supervillain Killface in his… Continue

<b>VERSUS</b>: <u>Usual Suspects</u> vs <u>Reservoir Dogs</u>

*PLEASE READ* These are going to be my entries dedicated to pitting two different movie against each other and see which one wins my favor, much like how I pit two animals in my basement and see which one deserves the rank of my new pet. These movies are usually similar in some line of genre, and I will take into account the pros and cons of each movie while comparing them. Now while I do choose one movie, I would most likely highly recommend either one to watch. While I… Continue
