Ok, first off i'd like to start with a poem by me,
"The Things I'd Do For You...To Just Go Away."
I'd buy a ticket to the Jonas Brothers,
Hell, I'd even buy another.
I'd keep the TV on the disney channel,
As all I think I know will dismantle,
As much as I'd like to dig my own grave,
I'd rather Hannah Montana be my 'fave!'
And watch High School Musical every day,
Just to make you go away.
I'd even see a spinoff of the twins in Transformers 2,
Or watch another Scooby Doo,
Or Spend the night w…

I'm not sure about any of you, but this year has truly been an outstanding year in film for me. You can complain about the major blockbusters of the year disappointing (Terminator Salvation, Transformers 2), but it's the movies I personally was looking forward to, or even totally ignored in some cases, that have been totally dominating my complete affection.
With the now 10 nominated movies in the Best Picture categories of the Oscars, there have been some films in particular this year that hav…

Rotten Tomatoes has posted five clips from the new movie, WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE based on the popular children's book of the same name, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world--a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler. The movie comes out October 16th, and the footage shown seem to indicate that the movie will be great.…

Overall I very much enjoyed the summer of 09. The major blockbusters tended to disappoint, but it wasn't as soul crushing as 2007 (spiderman 3, pirates 3, shrek 3 all sucked). So here goes my top 10 of the summer.
10. Bruno

Bruno was a tad disappointing, but that didn't stop it f…

FUCK LIMITED RELEASES
I love to watch movies in the theater. so much so that it's extremely rare that I ever haven't seen everything in the New Releases section on my NetFlix or at Blockbuster. The fact that a movie is available to watch after lots of waiting just makes me need to see it. (Don't get me wrong though, I don't go out and watch every movie out there. For example, you will NEVER get me to see the Drangonball movie or I Love You, Beth Cooper)
Now, it's this need to watch a movie in…

Hello there!
We're a little over halfway through the year now, and there's been a series of surprises, disappointments, and just flat out bad movies.
So this far into the year, I have to say the only movie I've seen that I truly hate is Wolverine. So instead of worst movies of the year, I'm going to list the top 5 disappointments (so far) of the year.

Yes, if you havn't been counting, it's true. There have been a whopping 8 celebrities to die in 1 month. my old teacher also died, but that's not what you're here for.

The tragic death of David Carradine was a bit confusing to me. I saw the name, and then the picture. Then I…

Here's my reasons why the prequels dont suck (theyre not as good as the originals by any stretch of the imagination)
5) the action
yes, it doesn't matter that much if it shouldn't be the main draw of the film in the first place, but still, the action sequences were pretty great. technically, the movies are all wonderful
4) The villains
Now, I know these can't compete with Darth Vader, but in my mind, theyre fucking close. Darth Maul is so awesome and General Grievous....i just love him. so muc…

In my earlier post I said that I couldn't possibly choose between the last 3, but I finally was able to pick a favorite
Cloverfield kept me captivated the entire movie. sure, the characters were annoying (I thought the cameraman was funny though) but i still cared about their safety. The secrecy drew me in,…

Ok, first off, i'd like to say my favorite movies of the year. These are also my nominees for my favorite movie of the year. I say favorite instead of best because the word "best" seems too factual, when this is based solely on opinion.
COMEDY
-Forgetting Sarah Marshall- It really surprised me, because I looked at this as an appetizer for Pineapple Express, but this completely turned the tables (still enjoyed Pineapple Exp. though)
-Tropic Thunder- If a movie can bring back the careers of Robe…
