First up,

My Early Pick For The Worst Movie Of 2009

Should have known from the news that this was actually getting made that this was going to be terrible.

I mean, come on, really. Anyway, it's Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective which features Josh Flitter from Nancy Drew & Licensed To Wed fame. It was originally set for a theatrical release in September 2008 but was later bumped to a direct-to-DVD release and now it will be available on March 3, 2009.

The 10 Best And Worst Movies Of 2008 So Far

With only a month to go before 2009 is upon us and everyone is writing their 10 best and worst movies of 2008 lists, I feel that it's natural to write a list of the 10 best and worst movies that I've seen so far.

As many people have said, including Korey, Co-Host, and Sean, the camera phone cop, only two movies are being considered the top dog for Oscar season and they are The Dark Knight & Slumdog Millionaire. I've only seen The Dark Knight but if Slumdog Millionaire starts… Continue

It's Friday and that means it's time for another edition of 'Movies I've Seen In The Last Week'. This week, I spent most of the week watching all seven seasons of 'Scrubs' and all four season of 'Mind Of Mencia' but I did manage to catch a couple of movies. One of which, Planes Trains & Automobiles, I watched again.

WALL-E

Easily the best animated movie of the year and Pixar's best film since The Incredibles. By the way, if anyone has bought the 3-disc special edition… Continue

Fox Searchlight Setting Up 'Arrested Development' Movie

Source: slashfilm.com

An Arrested Development movie has always sounded like the wishful thinking of the television series hardcore fans. Over the years cast and crew have indulged, purportrated rumors, and continued the myth of an Arrested Development movie. I think I may have even made a posting proclaiming that an Arrested Development movie isn’t going to happen, no matter how much the cast members say they would like to reunite.

And even after Jeffrey Tambor told… Continue

'Pushing Daisies', 'Dirty Sexy Money', & 'Eli Stone' Get Axed

ABC made numerous midseason programming announcements Thursday, including ordering more episodes of "Life on Mars" and deciding against picking up "Pushing Daisies," "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Eli Stone" for a full season, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The network informed producers of "Daisies," "Money" and "Stone" that no additional hours will be ordered at this time. The network left the door open for ordering episodes in the future, though that is considered unlikely.

'South Park' To Cap Off With Movie?

Source: Garth Franklin, Dark Horizons

When the time comes to close the door on the hit animated series "South Park", creator Trey Parker tells The Los Angeles Times that they may do it with another feature film.

"We talked about maybe some day doing a movie to sort of end it all, and that seems like the best idea. That's been a big thought to do the last show as a movie" says Parker.

He admits that we've already seen many of the ideas they had been saving for… Continue
