Due to being poor and drowning in work, there was around a three month gap where I managed to not go to the cinema once. Nevertheless I saw a lot of damn fine movies, and I'll list my favourites here.

Ok, lets be honest here. Remakes really can go either way. Either they take a dump on the franchise or they revitalize it. There are some films out there that really need some kind of reboot. In these cases, like with last year's The Incredible Hulk, a director can take the best elements of a story and build on them. Ilmena.2's blog made me remember a gaming experience that I treasure, that I return to now and again to play for hours at a time. This game is currently on the Playstation 2, and by god it was difficult to get my hands on it.
