In honor of the massively positive response to the Halo Reach VGA trailer, Bungie has released a free mp3 file of the music heard in the video. The track, entitled "Lone Wolf", is the first officially released track from the game, and gives us a glimpse as to how the rest of the score will sound like. This isn't the first time the company has done something like this. Bungie did a similar release for Halo 3 by making the teaser music "Finish the Fight" available as a single mp3 on iTunes some po… Continue

I cannot believe this has come to pass, my friends.
At first, after the horseshit that was "Disaster Movie", I feared that Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer would do their next shitty parody film based around "Watchmen", along with the other late 2008/early 2009 movies that already had previews at the time. But, both strangely and thankfully enough, they have not announced another film since "Disaster Movie" flopped HARD last August.
Cut to this afternoon: I was looking around Slashfilm when,… Continue
Looks like J.J. Abrams is about to take on a certain animated action show from a few years back! Details below:
It's been a quiet couple of years since we heard that animator Genndy Tartakovsky's unique and insane 'toon SAMURAI JACK was coming to theaters from indie studio Frederator Films.
The property is apparently still slicing its way forward, and according to a blog post at Frederator, it has JACK fan JJ Abrams and his Bad Robot company on board as co-producers, and is set up at Paramo… Continue
I just want to say right off the bat that I'm a little worried about how this film might turn out. I'm sorry, guys, but so far, none of the trailers and ads as of late have impressed me. Not that I think it's gonna suck, but I'm just worried it might be as good as they're hyping it up to be.
Why? We'll here's my 2 main reasons what I'm worried for this film as noted from the trailers:
1. The Humor: Really? A alligator (or is it a crocodile? Whatever.) playing a TRUMPET? And a hillbilly lightn… Continue
Just got back from seeing the G.I. Joe movie. Now, I've listened to the Spill Crew's audio review on it, and... I'm sorry guys, but, in regards to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen....YOU ARE ALL FULL OF SHIT! G.I. Joe was NOT better than Transformers: ROTF (which I LOVED); in fact, here's an image I can easily describe this movie as:
If you haven't guess, I'm saying that the film's one BIG t… Continue

It has finally arrived: Disney has released the test footage/teaser trailer for Tron Legacy. The teaser is the same as the test footage from last year in good quality, but with the official title logo, 3-D format listings, the website address, and, of course, the 2010 release date (it's being decided if the film should be out in November or December of next year). Hope you guys enjoy it! End of line.

Ok, the title may not sound like this article is that big of a deal to you guys. I mean, we've gotten some great shit this year, like Transformers 2 (Yes, I loved that movie. Sue me), Star Trek, Public Enemies, Watchmen (the director's cut, not the theatrical cut), Up, and even Terminator Salvation.
But there's one movie out very soon that has probably become my most anticipated movie of this year. Now, with stuff like The Surrogates, 9, the remake of The Wolfman, Avatar, A Christmas Carol, and… Continue

Hey guys, it's Movielord again! Listen, while browsing around online recently, I found a crystal-clear quality video of the Director's Cut of Watchmen. This long-awaited version of the film (which won't be out until the release of the 2-Disk DVD and Bu-ray versions of the movie on July 21st), clocks in at EXACTLY 3 hours (minus the end credits, which the video didn't have), and, I'm happy to say, is FAR MORE SUPERIOR TO THE THEATRICAL CUT!
So, what did Snyder and co put back in? Well, I won't g… Continue
Just got word that for those of you wanting to get Watchmen on Blu-Ray that, on July 25th, Zach Snyder will be doing an exclusive screening/chat of the director's cut of the movie via BD Live (must have movie on Blu-Ray to participate) STRAIGHT FROM SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON!!!! I know i'll be getting the movie (i was originally going to get the Two-disk DVD, but maybe I'll get the Blu-Ray instead), what about you guys? If any of you with a PS3 or a stand-alone Blu-Ray DVD player are interested in par… Continue

Hey guys! Just read in my local paper that a big soundstage called MediaMax just opened in Allendale, New Jersey, which is very close to where i live! According to the article, J.J. Abrams' new comedy "Morning Glory", which will star Harrison Ford, Jeff Goldblum, Diane Keaton, Rachel McAdams, and "Watchmen" actor Patrick Wilson, will be doing sound editing there this month (if not, very soon). The film, now in production for a release next July, is about an aspiring news producer (McAdams) who t… Continue

Breaking news, Spillyoes! Just got word from Michael Bay's forums that actor Tony Todd, best know for his role as the titular villain in the Candyman series, has been confirmed to be the REAL voice of The Fallen in "Transformers Revenge of The Fallen"! No other details as to what he will sound like in the film, but we can all be sure he will be AWESOME! This is MOVIELORD101, signing out! Continue
Thanks to Myspace, the official trailer for "Surrogates" starring Bruce Willis has been released. Even better is the fact that the trailer is the EXACT SAME THING I saw at NY Comic-Con back in February! The footage kicked ass then, and it kicks ass now! Experience the amazing footage I saw 4 months ago below!

About damn time. I've been waiting to see more footage from this since I saw the trailer early at NYCC this year. Hopefully this means the official trailer will be out soon! Continue

Just got word from ShockTillYouDrop that the uber-long anticipated horror anthology "Trick 'R Treat" will FINALLY be released on DVD and Blu-Ray this October! More details will be released in June, but for now, WB's tiding us over with a new extended trailer for the film. No theatrical release has been announced at this time, but I'll let you guys know as soon as I hear anything!
Here's the new trailer that's just been released. Hope you find it intriguing!

"Family Guy" creator Seth McFarlane appeared on The Adam Carolla Podcast, where he discussed turning the hit show into a big screen feature. Possibly even live-action.
"I can say with definitive assuredness that it will be out within the next few years," he said. "We already know what it's gonna be. We've been trying to lock into something that makes it so that it has to be a movie, as opposed to an extended 'Family Guy' episode. And I like the 'Simpson's Movie,' but that's something they could… Continue
Just doing this so that i can get the word out about some big-ass plot holes and continuity issues in "Spider-Man 3". While i personally enjoy the film (it's more entertaining than Spider-Man 2's EXCRUCIATINGLY BORING second quarter), i noticed that there's some issues in the film that apparently NO ONE has brought into the light. Using info from "deleted scenes" from the movie's novelization and the film itself, here's what I'm referring to:
# 5- Gwen Stacy's role in the movie: Ok, first of al… Continue

This is for Spillers who like going out regularly like myself. From now on I will regularly organize nights out with other Spillers and we'll do a pub crawl, go bar hopping or go out clubbing. These are not Spill Parties. These are Spill Outs
