I want to stress to all you Spillers out there, that this really happened, even though if somebody told me this story, I wouldn't believe it myself.
Okay, when I was younger, I think 16 or 17, our family would get together for Thanksgiving dinner and have a great big feast. Lots and… Continue
I was looking up IMDB yesterday for obscure summer movies, when out of nowhere I kept thinking about whatever happened to Johh Hughes and why hasn't he made any new movies lately. Director/writer of such classic gems like , Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) Weird Science (1985) The Breakfast Club (1985) Sixteen Candles (1984) Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) Pretty in Pink (1986) .

This being Easter (Resurrection Day) Weekend and all, I found it fitting to mention a few Easter movies/televison specials out there.

February 9, 2009I was curious every time I saw that 15 second teaser commercial for the new show called Kings premiering March this year. Then I saw the trailers from their official site and realized that this show is actually the story from the bible, the book of 1 and 2 Samuel. As a christian, it will be kind of cool to see how all the drama of the scriptures will be portrayed on screen, as a modern day tale. Think of the Bible, reboot!
But also, I've seen… Continue
With the new Kindle 2 coming out, I'm thinking that trades/comics/graphic novels, will all be electronic screens within 10-15 years and those with actual, physical paper collections will all be worth money to true comic book collectors, no matter how lousy the stor… Continue
Okay, maybe it's just me, but every time I write anything up on the site, within two hours, my email inbox is filled up with the following messages.

Okay, in all my 30 plus years of watching movies, I gotta start out by saying I've seen my share of bootlegged movies. Mostly friends/family members lendi… Continue
I ask that question because this happened to me several years ago. I remember walking into the local video store at about six p.m. to try to get a copy of Romeo is Bleeding (best Lena Olin scene ever) and I couldn't find it, so I looked for something just as fun to watch. Th… Continue
Why can't you calm Batman down, McRib?
Okay, just wanna throw in my two cents on a discussion that's not even really news anyways/anymore?
Should the Director of Terminator 4 have done a better job of handling his actor? IMHO, as the director he's ultimately responsi… Continue

Especially for all the Spill Christians on the site to respond. But others are invited for feedback as well:
Okay, after reading some of my blog posts/videos up here at Spill, some of you guys know I'm a Christian indie filmmaker, who aspires one day to make high quality movies that reflect my religious beliefs. But, I do also like to watch non-religious movies too, but the profanity, violence, and extreme sexual content can be a bit jarring for me at times, especially being a Sunday Sc… Continue

Okay this pre New Year's movie rant isn't that long, because I kinda fell asleep at the 45 minute mark and kept channel surfing to see The Fly part 2 on the Spanish station.
From what I gathered, Forever Mine is a love triangle movie / thriller starring Gretchen Mol and Ray Liotta. But the main star seemed to be a Cabana boy, yup sounds like a bad Mad TV skit, when you give the synopsis out loud.
Anyways, the cabana boy falls for Ray "Goodfellas" Liotta's wife played by Gretchen Mol.
Anyone s… Continue

Okay, the first time I saw this movie, was like ten years ago. For some reason, it took almost a decade later for me to realize that this was a Christmas movie. Maybe it was all the Rave music scenes and the fake ecstasy con scenes that distracted me.
I've been having a hard time sleepi… Continue

Okay, I got a lot of goofy, off the wall theories. One piece of advice I heard a long time ago, is never to trust a man whose eyes are either too close or too far apart from their nose. Something about beedy, shifty eyes. It just ain't natural! You know the look, it looke… Continue
