First off i'd like to say i'm not the type of person who has the time to see movies every weekend. During summer I tend to go a lot more often because I do not have any school or as much activities. I normally catch the one's I missed in the theatre the first week or two when they come out on DVD. I love movies and ever since I was born movies was always my love. These are 10 movies I enjoyed watching and this is my opinion. Big movies of '09 that I haven't seen include Funny People, (500) Days…

Entertaiment weekly has just posted an article on why Howard is not in Iron Man 2. After I read the news that he's now in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers made a lot of people like me wonder...... why?
Hollywood insiders believe the exit stems from Terrence Howard's difficult behavior on the set of Iron Man. But those with intimate knowledge of the situation suggest a far more dramatic backstory: Howard was the first actor signed to the film and, on top of that, was the highest-paid. That's right: m…

It appears Terrence Howard isn't as interested in playing War Machine as he led on in oh so many reviews prior to Iron Man's release last year. At least not interested unless all the zeroes lined up as THR has announced Howard is out and Don Cheadles is in.
Cheadle will replace Howard as Jim Rhodes in Iron Man 2 (5/7/2010), Tony Stark/Iron Man's best friend and future armor-clad hero War Machine. As THR denotes, one scene in Iron Man features Howard looking at a silver suit of armor and saying "…

We’ve just updated our Upcoming Movies section with a plot synopsis for The First Avenger: Captain America, as provided by Production Weekly. The synopsis reveals some interesting things about Marvel’s plans for Cap. It looks like the movie will be a period piece, not a modern updating of Captain America’s origins. Or at the very least, we’re going to spend a significant amount of time watching Steve Rogers before and during World War II.
Full plot breakdown: Born during the Great Depression, S…

Harry split the scene, so 007 moved in for the kill.
Sony on Thursday moved its next James Bond film, "Quantum of Solace," back one week to November 14. That move is closely tied to the departure of Warner Bros.' "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" from the November 21 release berth.
Just last week, the sixth "Potter" film newly planted its domestic flag on July 17, as executives sought to fill a hole in Warners' summer 2009 slate. The most immediate response to that move was Summit Enter…

Twentieth Century Fox said on Monday it will seek an injunction to block release of the Warner Bros movie "Watchmen" after a Los Angeles court ruled a copyright lawsuit against Warner can go forward.
The movie about raffish, flawed superheroes -- which has already been shot -- is slated for release on March 6, said Warner Bros spokesman Scott Roe.
The highly anticipated film, with a budget believed to be about $120 million, is based on a 1980s DC Comics graphic novel written by Alan Moore and…

A user on BlueTights' The Planet Forum got a chance to meet Superman: Man of Steel co-writer Michael Dougherty at the U.S. Capitol and asked him about the sequel:
I asked him if he was a part of the sequel because everything I have seen says [Bryan] Singer and [Dan] Harris are writing the script and that he isn't mentioned. He confirmed that he is writing it with the two just like the last picture. I then expressed to him that I was hoping the delays of Superman: The Man of Steel weren't true.…

Following up on an earlier article, one of my contacts deep within the bowels of Hollywood and close to the Punisher: War Zone project (source will not be named. Sorry!) told me today that the big fight over the Punisher project is Lionsgate wants a PG-13 cut to be released.
We already know that Lexi Alexander has allegedly been fired from the film. Her own website doesn't even mention anything about the Punisher movie anymore. You would think that even if she were a consultant on the project,…
