Hello everybody. It's me, THE MILKMAN?. But, you can call me Joshua if you really want to. I'm writing this blog in an attempt to allow you guys to get to know me a bit better and hopefully get to know you a little more in the process. So with no more adieu, here's a fist of my absolute favorite things.
Favorite Color: Red (The color of love and ironically blood… Continue

What's the point. I mean, honestly, do I have to? Fine! In case you have suffered the misfortune of being trapped under a tree in the middle of a deserted forest for the last 5 months, I'm here to tell you… Continue
W, or as I like to call it Dubya, tells the worrisome tale of current president George W. Bush. And, that's really what's wrong with W. I don't need to see a movie chronicling events that I'm still in the process of living. In order to keep W. current, the filmmakers had to shoo… Continue
Body of Lies is this year's The Kingdom and I say that with nothing but respect. Ridley Scott sprinkles his magic dust over an otherwise okay script and turns it into something that's actually really freaking good. The movie follows DiCaprio and Crowe trying to track down a majo… Continue

Bill Maher's Religulous isn't just one of the best documentaries I've seen in a while, but also one of the funniest movies in general. This movie's all about religion, it's ridiculousness, and how It's turning rational people into crazies. The scariest part of all this is that it's… Continue
Because, the movie Choke was based off of the book by Chuck Palahniuk, I instinctively assumed that I'd end up comparing this movie to Fight Club. Happily, this is not the case, as Choke bears little to no resemblance to Palahniuk's previous movie adaption. So, on with the sho… Continue
First of all, let's get one thing out of the way. The next Batman movie can not and will not be superior to The Dark Knight. It's sad, but true. Now, that doesn't mean that the next Batman movie shouldn't strive to be anything short than awe… Continue
Now, we all know that the next installment of Guitar Hero will include a microphone and drum set much like Rock Band. I just want you to know that I hand picked these songs pacifically for their guitar riffs alone. Alright, let's get started!
1 - Burnin' For You (Blue Oyster Cult)
2 - Icky Thump (The White Stripes)… Continue
A while back I saw the trailer for this movie and immediately had high hopes for it. I thought, "Finally, an intelligent comedy that feels refreshing and new." After seeing the movie, I now realize that I couldn't have been farther from the truth. Here are the facts. Hamlet 2 suffers from a excruciatingly unfunny sc… Continue
Ben Stiller has finally found his place in movie making, and it's behind the camera, not in front. Tropic Thunder is the action/comedy film that Pineapple Express should have been. Admittably, the first half hour is very hit or miss, but from the time these dummies ar… Continue

I can't exactly say that Pineapple Express was a disappointment, because when it comes to me, Apatow's movies are often hit or miss. This one's a miss, although still not completely unredeemable. This movie's got some solid stoner humor, but that alone can't compen… Continue

This movie is all awesome with a side order of fries! I disliked the first Hellboy for two reasons. One, the movie took itself far too serious, making it unintentionally funny at times. Two, it was boring which is the last thing you want from an action movie. The second installment not only fixes the mistakes of it's predecessor, but goes beyond the call of duty, mak… Continue

I had high hopes for this movie. The concept was interesting enough, but it was the cast which really drew me in. Will Smith and Jason Bateman are two of the most talented people in hollywood. Speaking of Bateman, did you hear about the Arrested Development movie? KICK ASS! The movie started out promisingly. It was fun, fun, fun, that is until the second half of the movie. You'r… Continue

This film is a movie buff's wet dream. So close to flawless. So close to perfection. I smiled throughout this entire movie. When I wasn't smiling, I laughing. When I wasn't laughing, I was sitting in my seat, jaw wide open, basking in cinema heaven. The movie begins with an eerie, almost chilling feel to it. What was once earth, is now a deserted wasteland, completely covered in t… Continue

Why is it that whenever Steve Carell shows up in a movie, I instinctively begin to hate it. What can I say? Aside from The Daily Show and Anchorman I've just never found the man to be all that funny. Carell definitely lucks out this time just because he fits the role so damn well. I enjoy watching him take on Maxwell Smart only because he makes the character his own. I've seen one too many… Continue

Martin Scorsese is unarguably one of the best filmmaker of our time. I find that In many ways his work surpasses that of even Spielberg. The man is a genius, knowing how to work a camera while simultaneously getting the absolute best performances from his actors. This is something most directors fail to accomplish. I worship this man and hope that I may one day be as successful a film… Continue
Dreamworks has always been iffy with me. Sometimes they can produce a hilarious and entertaining film, while other times their movies just flat out stink. I'm happy to report that Kung Fu Panda is one of their better films. The premise is simple. Jack Black plays a fat, clumsy panda who must learn the ways of kung fu in time to obtain the dragon scroll which will turn him in to the dragon maste… Continue

So, ladies and gentlemen, if I say I'm a pissed off man, you got to agree.
Now, I love There Will Be Blood almost as much as our good friend Carlyle. It's a cinematic spectrum which really takes to it's advantage, the power of film. I love this movie so much that I purchased the Two-Disc Special Collectors Addition, like any true movie fan would. After buying it, I couldn't wait to see the movie again, then bathe in it's extra features. After now doing so, I can honestly say that this DV… Continue
Rarely do I ever mention important scenes and or plot points in my game/movie reviews, but I'm afraid there comes a time and place for everything. So, unless you enjoy being spoiled I suggest you stop reading HERE. This movie takes a big poop on the entire Jones trilogy. Wait, never mind that. The second one kind of sucked as well, but only slightly less so than this installment. This… Continue
