This article is a followup to my Avenger's plot. If you had not read it, please do so.
I realize that there will be problems with any plot, but there are several choices I made which I feel I should defend.
First, Loki comes out of nowhere in the… Continue

I am writing the plot to the Avengers movie with a few predictions in mind:
1) The Thor movie is a giant hit
2) The Ant-Man movie will not be released before this one.
3) Captain America dies or is frozen at the end of his WWII flick
4) The sequel to the Incredible Hulk will not be made.
5) Marvel will get Edward Norton to return as Bruce Banner, and will not just use a CGI Hulk.
6) This assumes that the Black Widow…

Intro:
This article is meant to look at the state of the Avenger’s film as of February 2010, it will look at the suspected cast of the film and the early years of the comic in order to theorize what major events fans can expect in this film. It should be known that this is all speculation and many of the conclusions given will probably be changed depending on the success of Marvel, and Superhero films that come before…

Daredevil's chance to see the Light:

Okay, it's official, Fox is going to
reboot the Daredevil franchise. I don't think that this comes as a surprise to anyone, since the first film was poorly received, and Fox needs to make another movie soon or lose their rights to the…

Introduction:Okay, the
Daredevil: Born Again story is probably the best of the character's career. It's so simple and complex at the same time, and made a lot of new ground for the character, and comic books in general.
Basically, the book is between Matt Murdock and the Kingpin, as the two up the any every issue as the Kingpin slowly places plan after…

Would a Superman movie really annoy anyone is they made Perry White black? How about if they cast an Asian woman as Lois Lane? What if Jimmy Olsen was Jenny Olsen, Superman's greatest fangirl? Would that have any effect on the movie whatsoever?
My guess is that it might just make the movie better.
The History Holding Us Back
Let's face it, comics have changed since they became extremely popular in the 1930's.…

Wow, as far as the comic book industry went, this decade was a HUGE step forward from the last one. After almost going bankrupt, Marvel came back and is well on its way to becoming a significant force at the box office. DC made some major changes too, bringing back it's multi-verse and even replacing many of their heroes with ones for a younger generation.
Darkhorse Comics became force to be reckoned with on the comic book shelves, as it…

Well, the decade is almost over, and I figured, that it would be a good time to look at the best of the best that had graced the big screen. Why? Because I figure that greatness should be recognized. I also figure that bringing this stuff up will encourage other people to go and create their own list and give some thought on what makes movies stand out. That being said, before I start, I want to mention that this is just my opinion on the best…

Introduction:

This plot has to do with the introduction of Elektra.
The first movie set up all of the other characters, this movie sets up and plays out the most famous saga in the title's history.
To purists, I'll tell you in advance that it's not a direct translation from the comic. The reason being is that this was already played out in the…

Introduction:

I never saw the Daredevil movie in theatres, but I tried my best to defend it from it's critics. I thought that the film itself was said to be much worse than it actually was. I still stand by this statement; while I don't believe that is was a travesty of epic proportions, it could have been much better. I later watched the director's cut, and the whole film became more understandable, and some of the scenes that seemed…

Um wow, I did not see this coming. Today the
Hollywood Reporter mentioned that Disney bought Marvel for $4 Billion Dollars. My first thought was “oh great, Mickey Mouse is going to becomes Captain America’s sidekick,” (but right after, I realized that the Namor vs. Little Mermaid fanfic I wrote some time back now has a real possibility of…

Hey Spill members,
I have linked all of my Superman articles together so they can be read as one giant story. Hopefully this will make for some easy reading and at least give you hope that the franchise can be saved.

Here is the index:

Remakes are nothing new in Hollywood, they've been remaking their crap for a long time now. Even Alfred Hitchcock remade his own film,
The Man Who Knew Too Much. While many of these remakes were just cashing in on the name, others surpassed their predecessors. Probably one of the most universally hailed of the remakes is John Carpenter's
The Thing, which very existence justifies the re-imagining of movies. But what Hollywood is…

The problem with Michael Moore, is that he tries to pass himself off as Liberal. This is unfortunate, because if he truly was one, he’d either shut his mouth, or take some more time to explain his reasoning.
For the few that don’t know, Michael Moore is one of the most famous documentary filmmakers in the world. Starting with his big hit
Roger & Me, Moore went on to gain international attention with his award winning…

The surprise of the summer. Besides seeing some movie posters and the standard trailer, I had heard next to nothing about this film. All I knew going in was that it had aliens and a budget of $30 million.
Was it a political thriller? An action flick? A romance? I had no clue, and that was part of the fun of this film, I didn't know what direction it was going to take. So if you want a similar experience, stop reading this…

How to make "Superman: New Krypton" into a good movie
Note: This is my most in-depth plot so far, it make seem like a lot, but I think that if edited well, could be shot into a film just over two and a half hours long. The main plots of the movie are Luthor’s return and rise to power, alongside the reintroduction of Krypton. Yes, I am aware that Luthor doesn’t meet Zod or Superman until the final climax, but…

A.K.A.:
Superman 3
Superman: Reborn
Superman: Lives
Superman: Forever
This movie is a sequel to
Superman: Doomsday, which I wrote on this site a few months back. This movie should bring subplots and relationships to a head while telling its own self contained story and paying tribute to the comics, whenever…

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein
By far one of the best monster movies ever made, by far one of the best Abbot and Costello films ever made, and dare I say— the GREATEST CROSSOVER FILM ever made. It is brilliant, for it’s time.
Yes, by today’s standards, the monsters aren’t scary, and the comedy is rather tame. But the pacing and chemistry hold up well. It’s a children’s movie that rarely plays down the threat…

With The
Dark Knight showing that superhero movies can surpass their roots and deal with subjects in a mature manner, I thought: "What would it take for video game movies to be taken as seriously?"
I figured I'd give the outline a shot to one of the most mindless series ever created...(say it with me)...
MORTAL KOMBAT!
So, noting that
the Dark Knight made changes (such as Dent not having a wife, or Gordon's…
