If it's crap ... We'll tell you
After seeing The Woman In Black on the big screen I came out of it with mixed feelings, yes I did enjoy it, yes (I hate to say this) I thought that Daniel Radcliffe was rather good as Arthur Kibbs, a young lawyer who travels to a small village only to discover that a vengeful ghost is terrorizing the locals. I am one of the people who bashed Radcliffe for his portrayal as Harry Potter, watching those films I found him increasingly wooden with each film, though in WIB (Woman In Black) he was…Continue

So, after venturing into Coventry to feed my unnatural interest into the zombie genre, I picked up the first Resident Evil film for about £3 along with 28 weeks later. I took Resident Evil home and sat down to watch the 90 or so minutes of film.
I must start by saying that as far as Resident Evil is concerned I am a massive (excuse the language here) “whore” for all the games, I own roughly all the games that were released, some are better than others it has to be said but I really do…Continue

After hearing some complaints about the ending of the film I have decided to write a blog post about it. This will contain spoiler so if you haven’t seen the film then please do not read this until you have.
So a complaint I received about the film was to do with the ending and Deckards character and the possibility that he is in fact a replicant himself. Director Ridley Scott said this himself that he believed Deckard was a replicant, others say that he isn’t. I believe that it’s all…Continue

The Assassination Of Jesse James WAS THE BEST film that came out in 2007, and without a doubt was completely snubbed from the 2008 Academy Awards, besides supporting actor which it was nominated for and should have won by miles.
To say this film was fantastic is a understatement, it was brilliant and walked all over the other films that came out in 2007, and for me that is fantastic. Though it was followed closely by There Will Be Blood. The film focuses around the famous outlaw Jesse…Continue
Blade runner, is and always will be one of my favorite films. It is one hell of a film experience
The film is set in a dystopian future Los Angeles where a corporation called the Tyrrell corporation genetically creates machines called replicants. Replicants become outlawed on earth and soon 4 arrive to find a way to enhance their 4 year life span. So Rick Deckard, a retired Blade Runner who hunts and kills replicants must find these 4 and kill them.
Ridley Scott needs to be…Continue

So after watching Kingdom of heaven for about the umpteenth time, I would like to say that I love the directors cut of the film, even though some of the problems I have with the film still remain, the directors cut is one of Scotts best.
To tell you the truth, I would probably put this up there with some of Scotts best work, especially in terms of its visuals. Wow, does Ridley create worlds, and create a world he does in the film. It’s rich, its vibrant and it’s full of lies and…Continue

So I recently saw the alien invasion film Skyline which from the trailer looks an interesting film… God how I was wrong. So. Very. Wrong! *Be aware this may contain spoilers*
The plot (or what there is of a plot) goes as follows. Strange and mysterious Blue lights land in L.A which starts to bring people towards them and soon people start to get sucked up by alien spaceships. The follows follows 6 character (if you can call them that) as they try to stay alive for as long as…Continue

Having just seen both the Original and the remake of The Amityville Horror, I can safely say that the Original is a far superior film. But why?
The Amityville Horror was released in 1979. The film takes place in the year 1975 and the story is set around George and Kathy Lutz who move into their new home. Their new home however was home to a brutal murder in which a family of six was killed whilst asleep and over time, the house becomes dangerous as blood drips from the walls and dark…Continue
