After a few hours of playing the Injustice Demo (that came out on Tuesday). I think it's safe to say that this game if freaky fun to play and you won't be disappointed. The demo contains only three playable characters, and one boss character. The graphics are good, not great.…Continue

Yes it coming to the end of the year which means it's time to pick the top games of the year. This list was actually a lot harder than I initially thought it would be. There were some really great indie games this year, along with some amazing AAA titles. With that said let's jump straight in my top 5 games of the year.

Understanding Motion Control
As we saw recently in the Loading Bar's and pretty much every other gaming journal's review, has stated: Steel BATTALION SUCKS!

Here's the second installment on my attempts at completing an assassin's mission in Assassin Creed: Revelations. Kept failing and restarting but, that is the plight of a perfectionist... or someone with too much time on their…Continue

Now from what a lot of people said (and you know who you are you Castlevania faithfuls), this game wasn't too shabby on the fanbase. I for one though enjoyed Mercury Steam's take on the Action/Adventure/Horror jambalaya that was Lords of Shadow. It had a great soundtrack, pretty good action, amazing art direction- all revolving around a ridiculous plot that…Continue

As we prepare for the coming wave of next generation systems, we should be anticipating improvements on all the good things we associate with the current crop of systems. Moving forward we expect: better graphics, faster processors, more engaging games, you get the idea. But not everything that we're anticipating will be a progressive movement for gaming. At least, as far as Sony and Microsoft are concerned, you can wave goodbye to…Continue

All the way from the distant shores of rainy England comes a new video games podcast from 3 lazy university students; "Crittack!" which is both a play on the words "critic" and "attack" and the three of our names (Chris, Tim and Jack). You can listen or download the 2nd podcast here:
The second episode of the Crittack Video Game…Continue

I thought there should be a place on this site where Spill Gamers can get together, share online gamer IDs (for Xbox Live or PSN) and find other like minded people to play online together (yes this is similar to Hupit Gaming).
I guess a simple post like the below can help gamers find eachother.
Game(s) Playing Now: MW3, NBA Live 2k11, FIFA
Looking for: mostly other MW3 players who are mature…

So im about 6-10 hours into Fallout New Vegas after finally jumping on Bethesda's most recent franchise bandwagon and i love it. After playing the shit out of the latest elder scrolls game Oblivion it is obvious to see the vast improvements in design and engineering.
For a start the game looks stunning, the world genuinely looks alive (well, as alive as a post nuclear war world can be) with creatures roaming free and environmental events going on all around with dust storms…Continue
