Very first Gen-X romantic comedy.
A budding romance between noble under achiever Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack) and high school valedictorian Diane Court (Ione Skye) is threatened when Diane's overly possessive, disapproving father (John Mahoney) interferes with their relationship. With a prized scholarship to study abroad hanging in the balance, Diane must find a way to make both men happy.…

I think faithfulness is very important because im tired of hollywood screwing up comic book characters like venom, galactus, and deadpool just so they can say "oh hey we know we screwed up so lets make a spin off movie where we can get the characters right and milk more money from the fans". However if the director can make it work like with Iron Man or Watchmen or even The Dark Knight then i'll have no problem with it. Very rarely i will accept huge changes like transformers for example (which…

Let me just start off saying i loved the first MUA. The character roster was diverse and satisfying , the story was interesting and all characters multiple cool moves (about 10 per character) and 4 costumes.
Now we come to MUA2 (set during Civil War). I was really looking foreword to this but the more I find out about it, the more I start to doubt. Lets start off with the roster.
Presently all but 2 characters have been revealed and its looking, well a little odd...by odd I mean bad.
Her…

Once again, another movie that I was nagged about seeing, although I'll admit that they my friends did not have to bother me as hard for me to see this one. I'll be honest with you guys, I'm an Edward Norton fanboy and not just because I'm a fan of the Incredible Hulk (Norton smash). From Red Dragon to the Illusionist and finally to Fight Club, th…

First off, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MOVIE and download the leaked version instead if u really wanna see this movie, cuz pretty much the leaked version is exactly the same as the movie theater version just doesn't have most of the visual FX done and some of the music in it.
War Scenes: Pretty much this movie really sux, the movie is too short, the whole part of his history in the wars and when he's a child goes by soooo quick through the credits and to me that would have been more of the i…

“You’re all clear kid!” this is one of the most memorable quotes etched in the minds of movie goers everywhere as they traveled to that galaxy far far away. I am of course speaking of the assault on the death star at the end of a new hope. The mission being: destroy the death star, the odds of success? Impossible. But with the courage of the rebellion and the determination of a young pilot named Luke Skywalker, but what makes this an important moment in cinema? Till this day star wars fans ev…

Reposting this as a blog, adding some more questions to all the Spilldos out there.
I recently learned a new "label" for the generation born after the Gen X generation, called "millenialist" generation born after 1980 . As a guy from the so called Generation X born between 1965 and 1980 , (even though I hated that label) I see that more and more movies are being targeted for this (Millenium Kids) new generation and I didn't realize the small differences between these two generations up until I…

The tricky part of writing a review for the
Speed Racer movie is avoiding racecar puns, especially since it did such an inglorious crash & burn at the box office.

Being a big X-Files fan and with the past reference of the first movie, I thought that this would be as good as the first one or even better. But I have to say that I feel a little disappointed. The series characterized for its big amount of suspense, mystery, action, adventure and good sci-fi, this movie lacks from all of these things. The movie was too slow for my taste, causing the movie to become tiresome. The cast is okay, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return as agents Mulder and Scul…
