Comic Collaboration (writers and artist)

Collaborating is something that has to be experienced to understand. When a writer can see his vision come to life, it feels unreal. Here is what you need:

You need to have several short stories already completed. If you don't have a small library of your own work than start writing. Try to have a variety of genres. You don't know what a potential artist might be interested in drawing.

Approach several artist. Many will likely not see your story the way you do. Maybe the… Continue

Watchmen Screenwriters Discuss Adapting the Novel

Photobucket

Alex Tse wrote the final draft of the Watchmen screenplay, but he doesn't have as much to say about it as previous writer David Hayter. Perhaps he's just modest. Even so, Tse chimed in as Hayter discussed the long development to finally bring Watchmen to the screen.

Crave Online: How the heck do you sit down and adapt an… Continue

My two cents of a possible Screen Actors Guild strike

This is flat out bullshit, bullshit, BULLSHIT! In case you haven't heard, there have been talks all year of a possible Screen Actors Guild strike. The reason why these greedy hardworking actors want to strike is for the same reason why the Writers' Guild decided to strike last year: MONEY! Basically they are throwing a tantrum over the royalties movie studios bring in from "new media" which consists of iTunes and Amazon.com downloads, streaming videos, etc. Bottom line, it's all the… Continue

If Ellen Page does not win.... There will be a RECKONING!

So who else is ready for the Oscars Tonight?

I think the biggest jolt is to see how the actors will be acting post writers strike.... (after all, its the actors and directors turn now)

And to see what Jon Stewart and his army of writers were able to come up with in 2 weeks from end of strike to awards show.

Of course if anyone really believes that the writers were not writing during the strike, I have a bridge to sell ya!

Let's be honest, it was there… Continue
