The Spill Crew The Messenger - Interview with director Oren Moverman

Over the years we've had the pleasure of talking to many talented people who, after our interview, went on to achieve great accolades for truly amazing work. I believe Oren Moverman will be one of those people. Sure, Oren appears to be a sweet guy. He actually spoke with us while picking up his son from… Continue

Meh. Meh's 2012 Review.

2012. I did enjoy it, though, like Leon, I actually got bored from it after a while. It dragged much too long. The first 30-40mins or so, were the most enjoyable scenes in the whole film. The overblown special effects, with moments where you just want to yell "YOU LUCKY SON OF A BITCH!" at the screen- but in a good way. I was almost in tears from how crazy that scene was where John Cusack was driving through California with a limo packed with his family. Really, when they're trying to escape the… Continue

jarlabrelk The Hundred Word Review- Zombieland

Shoot and torture and mutilate and flambé and atomise and dissect and cannibalise and behead and lobotomise and sodomise and force feed faeces to ANYONE that spoils the cameo in this movie. Outside of the much talked about cameo it's actually a pretty good film despite Jesse Eisenberg’s best Mi… Continue

PvtSnafu If The Great Hollywood Directors Directed some of the Disney Animated Classics? (A WTF?! BLOG)

This has been on mind for quite a while. I always wondered what would certain Disney Animated classics would look if big named and important directors got a hold of them, for good or ill. The following is would be taglines for their posters. Most of these taglines are borrowed from each of the director's own film posters. There are some that I tweaked a bit to fit with the film, others I left alone because it fit the film. If The Coen Brothers directed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?Continue

DavidBray Zombieland - Review

Zombieland Review Rotten Tomatoes rating: 87% My rating: Full Price!!

I am an outwardly confessed gamer and gamers love nothing more than zombies. Whether it’s fighting for survival with a team in Left 4 Dead or facing flying Head-crabs alone in irradiated swamps in Half Life, we… Continue

Kenami Welcome To Zombieland!

Welcome to Zombieland! Population: You! Well it would be nicer if it was just you but instead you’re also tossed into the company of four complete nincompoops. Photobucket (random thought: why does Emma Stone look like Mila Kunis on the bloody poster? I am of course referri… Continue

DavidBray What's New Pussycat (1965) - Review

What’s New Pussycat? Review Rotten Tomatoes rating: 50% My rating: Full Price!!

I should probably start out by stating that this was a film thrust on me by my father at an early age and was replayed nearly every year until I was fourteen, when I naturally stopped hanging around with them. This sort of aeroliminal dis… Continue

Daniel Seven Pounds: Definitely worth seeing

Seven Pounds is a movie about Ben Thomas (Will Smith), an IRS agent with a fateful secret, embarks on an extraordinary journey of redemption by forever changing the lives of seven strangers. It is a movie with a lot of dramatic quality, so touching and heart-breaking. The movie presents how people, in this case Smith's character, manages his life and the consequences it carries no matter how good or bad they are. The movie has a very good story, the plot is well developed and convincing and it i… Continue

djk2g@yahoo.com 7 Pounds Review

I just finished watching Seven Pounds starring Will Smith and Rosario Dawson. This is one of the best movies that I have seen so far besides of course Slumdog Millionaire which I think is going to be a fantastic movie. Anyway, Will Smith stars as a mysterious man that is on his own agenda contacting various people in need and giving them "gifts". As the movie continues on you come to find out more about his life and a better understanding as to the recurring flashbacks that seem to cause him so… Continue

Daniel Semi Pro: A movie good enough for me

Semi Pro's maybe not the best movie of Will Ferrell or even not in his top 5 but believe it or not it worked for me. Yeah it could be better directed and produced, it could be funnier or maybe being a basketball related movie on the 70's decade, they could invite some pro players of the era so it could be more realistic but I think that the movie couldn't give up for more. The movie has the typical Will Ferrell humor, with lots of physical comedy and sex jokes, not all the jokes and gags are fun… Continue

Deadpool Deadpool Reviews: Surfer, Dude

I saw Surfer, Dude last Sunday and I went into it thinking it would be terriable. Absolutly awful. And another reason I hate Matthew McConaughey. But I left the theater with a smile on my face. I was suprised. More suprised then when I heard Heath Ledger was casted as The Joker. I know I'm going to get alot of heat for liking this movie but thats probably going to come from people who never saw the movie. So I'm going to be okay with that. Before I get to the actual review heres the trailer.… Continue

Carlyle Battle In Seattle Final Trailer and Poster!

You may not have heard about the upcoming film Battle in Seattle, but odds are you will. An ensemble cast movie directed by first timer Stuart Townsend (who you know best as ACTOR Stuart Townsend), this is a retelling of the events in Seattle during the 1999 WTO protest/riots. The best way to describe this is to call it the CRASH of protest movies. Its aim is to show how things got out of control from all sides and it does so very effectively. I saw this back at South By Soutwest earlier this ye… Continue
