Jenny Oh, New Moon... Why do You Have So Many Fans?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Everyone knows about all the hype and the story. New Moon is a sequel to the movie Twilight from last year at the same time, based on a popular book series by Stephenie Meyer. When the first book came out, i read it in middle school. And I used to like it a lot. Then i grew up and realized what 'selfish bitch' meant and i stopped liking it. I feel… Continue

Ilmena Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Angry Rant

sigh* Let me just start off saying i loved the first MUA. The character roster was diverse and satisfying , the story was interesting and all characters multiple cool moves (about 10 per character) and 4 costumes. Now we come to MUA2 (set during Civil War). I was really looking foreword to this but the more I find out about it, the more I start to doubt. Lets start off with the roster. Presently all but 2 characters have been revealed and its looking, well a little odd...by odd I mean bad. Her… Continue

KrissKross Why the star wars prequels may disappoint, but not quite suck

Here's my reasons why the prequels dont suck (theyre not as good as the originals by any stretch of the imagination) 5) the action yes, it doesn't matter that much if it shouldn't be the main draw of the film in the first place, but still, the action sequences were pretty great. technically, the movies are all wonderful 4) The villains Now, I know these can't compete with Darth Vader, but in my mind, theyre fucking close. Darth Maul is so awesome and General Grievous....i just love him. so muc… Continue

thejon93rd Why Television-to-Movie Transitions (Usually) Don't Work

Why Television-to-Movie Transitions (Usually) Don't Work. Now, I think that there's a "two and two" with this argument. Of course there have been adaptations (like: 'The Fugitive', 'Serenity', etc.) that have worked out well, but that's only because it's either set a few years away from the television show, it's slightly/completely different from the television show or they take all the correct turns. The ones that are just straight-forward adaptations from the television show itself...… Continue

Carlyle Ask Carlyle: Why you won't see Let the Right One In at the Oscars this weekend

I did some reasearch and saw that LTROI is one of the best reviewed films (local and foreign) and it hasn't been nominated for golden globe or even the OSCARS?! WTF? What do you think happened? Well, in short: It got screwed. But really, here's the answer. The Oscars are queer - and by that I mean weird. They have strange rituals and rules about what can win and what can even be nominated. Stupid shit like Beowulf not being qualified for BEST ANIMATED because they don't consider motion… Continue

Stephan "The Dark Knight DVD Collector's Edition" Review

I've just gotten a DVD, and I felt the strong urge to review it. Lo and behold the awesomeness of my new DVD, The Dark Knight Collector's Edition! The ultimate version of this to get for a Dark Knight fan since the Special Edition ain't all that special, and by far the best way to spend your money. I, for instance, got this at Walmart for $21 bucks. That, my friends, is a bargain. And with the economy the way it is right now, you gotta be smart with your money. Why is this so greatContinue

Miley Zor-El Which version of the Dark Knight should you buy?

Sorry, accidentally hit delete when I was trying to edit the tags. The touch pad on my new laptop is seriously too sensitive. Let's get one thing out of the way, first of all. We do not need to review this movie here AGAIN. It's not a question of should you buy it. It's more of which one should you buy? There are no less than seven different possibilities for your purchase. I am not going to list the obvious choice that, where there is both a DVD and a Blu-Ray version, and you can watch the Blu… Continue

First let me just say I understand the script has probably been finished and there's a good chance its already in pre production, so the likeyhood of this ever going past Spill.com is slim to none. However being a rabid fan won't stop me from givi...
