Ok... now, before we get into this, let's just all take a moment and talk about the inherent dangers in facepalm mishaps. Did you know that each year, nearly 5 people are injured…

Aquaman Pilot... WTF?!?!??!

Now I Just watched the Aquaman pilot (you know- the one that failed) and my first thought was; Why is Justin Hartley (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in Smallville) Aquaman? Now I tried to watch it on AOL but those bastard cut the feed off half-way through it, so I used some of my Christmas money to get it on iTunes. Well i thought that it was pretty good in a made for TV sort of way and i cant really see why it failed. and then it dawned on me- oh… Continue

The Happening DVD review! (if you don't check out this post you will die in seven days!)

How many ways can I say brilliant? M. Knight does it again! After his smash hit with lady in the water I didn't think he could pull off another PERFECT film such as this one! This movie is about some sort of occurrence in which people stop dead in their tracks and start spouting beautifully artistic soliloquies before taking their own life, all against their own will. The film begins with one of these elegantly crafted sequences followed by a short educational scene, and then descends into… Continue

Cyrus Reviews "Just Add Water"

I’m always kind of suspicious about films detailing the lives of...simpler folks. Sure, there are classic comedies like Raising Arizona and Freeway or dramas like Fargo and A Simple Plan, but I’ve found that the vast… Continue

Don't look for a review of M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening" on Spill.com

...Which is not to say we won't be reviewing 'The Happening'- truth is WE CAN'T WAIT to review it!- but don't expect our review to post until after the movie has already been released because there will be no advanced screenings of it.

While it's often a bad sign when a film doesn't screen for critics until Thursday night, mere hours before it's to be… Continue

The SIGNS are not good for M. Night Shyamalan's new movie, 'The Happening'

I remember hearing M. Night Shyamalan interviewed on the Howard Stern show where he recounted his journey with his last movie, 'Lady In The Water'. Disney was ready to go with it but didn't really like the ending, which made him cry (no joke). After crying about it for a few days and searching his feelings, Shyamalan decided that Disney "didn't believe in the project" and he too it to Warner Bros., who was more than willing to give him complete creative control.

I don't… Continue
