Hello everyone, I'm the GumGumRifleman. Now while I am a major fan of Anime, I am also a huge fan of movies and TV. I have always liked to see movies ever since I was a little kid watching Jurassic Park. While I have been through two decades, one of them I was too young to really watch anything and too young to really right anything about movies yet. But I have been wanting to do this for quite a while and now I finally can. This decade brought us alot of amazing movies. Some small, some big and…

Guy Ritchie doing what he does best.
Thandie Newton and Gerard Butler co-star in director Guy Ritchie's crime thriller about crooks from London's underworld who set out to nab millions of dollars left for the taking when a Russian mobster's real estate scam falls apart. Tom Wilkinson plays a powerful crime boss, with Jeremy Piven and rapper Ludacris appearing as record producers who g…

With one of my favorite series getting a sequel soon, Toy Story 3, I have been thinking of movies that I would love to see made. Some of these movies are sequels, with the first not really lending to a sequel, but I would very much like to see more of the story developed. I tried to think of movies that aren't in development, or even talked about, but movies I would just personally like to see.
A couple of these films are sequels, while most of these films are based off other things.

These speeches send chills down the spine and fire to the groins. They make you stand up and tell your boss, that stuck-up, arrogant wanker, to go fuck himself. They make you stand up in the middle of the cinema, saluting and screaming with passion, thoroughly embarrassing your friends. They make you look at the world around you and say "This world is mine. And this life is mine to live." These are the moments where, despite everything in the way; every enemy and opponent, every obstacle and wal…

The Uninvited came out on DVD today. Now, you already know what Corey thinks of it, and my opinion doesn't differ enough to make a blog post about it, so I'm going to write instead about the fantabulous Korean original,
Chang Hwa, Hong Ryon (2003) ...and then compare it to its inferior remake so I can take a couple of jabs at the latter.

Hey guys, I'd like to take back what I said about R.P.M. The first episode was really cool, it had a mad max kind of vibe to it, but i started to loose interest when the rangers came, I like how there is a better morphin sequence than the Japanese one, but I also miss the Engine Souls like Speedor, Buson, Bear RV, Gunpherd, Barruca, Triptor, Jetras, Jumbwhale, Carrygator and so on.

Also, I…

And now for part two of my retrospective. Last time we covered my
Top 16.
I decided I'll extend that to a top 20, but that'll be part of part three. But for now, here are my thoughts on some other cinema-related subjects:
WORST FILM I'VE SEEN ALL YEAR
Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay…

thanks
Well with nothing else to do on Christmas night me and some friends went to the movies. And not to my thrill we went and saw Valkyrie. Which was not a bad movie at all except for some flaws like the spill guys mentioned the accents oh they drove me up the wall. Apparently this film was more like a British imitation of what happened oh and then the…

(Note: Just to reiterate, this is just a rant, there are no flashy pictures or anything to hold your interests, I just had to say what I had to say as a movie watcher.)
What do I have to say about a genre I have all but given up watching movies from? The horror movie has been stripped of it's name, I am personally in favor of renaming it "bloody pulp" or "gibs galore". Where is the horror anymore? What kind of movie watching society have we devolved into that all we want in a "scary" movie are…

By now we all have heard of the claim Fox has over Watchmen. Of course WB is trying to work through it. But I would never guess they would do it like this:

LOS ANGELES – "Two and a Half Men" has spawned one major lawsuit.
Warner Bros. Television sued CBS in Los Angeles on Wednesday, claiming it is owed nearly $70 million for producing and licensing the hit sitcom.
The show, which stars Cha…

Rather than discuss the movie itself, I will discuss only the second disc.
Now, first thing I noticed is that written on the DVD are the words "
Digital Copy."
Wtf? Really? Is this a normal thing nowadays? Why would they give you a video file of the movie? Doesn't that make it even easier to pirate? But um, ok whatever.
As soon as you insert…

Being a guy who lives in Australia most of my life, we Aussies have a fair share of good films. There are some things in Australia that makes us unique from the rest of the world like VBs, Footy, meat pies, vegemites, even though I don't like those kinds of stuff. Thing is most of great Hollywood actors nowadays are Aussies. Even Health Ledger who f*ckin played the Joker in The Dark Knigh…

I have no idea about any real information about this movie. No one does, I don't think a script even exists yet (although you gotta be kidding me if you don't think it will exist eventually.) So anyway, I was reading some blog Carlyle posted, and he asked to please not be asked anymore Batman questions. The guy is sick of it, and probably so are the rest of the spill guys, but I'm not so if anyone wants to discuss it, here would be the place to do so.
Now how I will start this discussion off is…

Alternate ending begins from the Ferry scene.
The civilian boat blows up, and batman is like "noooooooo!" At first he is just pissed that Joker put the people in such a vulnerable position. He tries to explain that of course the convicts killed the innocent people. He thinks he's won the logical element of the argument which he thinks is what he has to do rather than just kill the Joker.
Then the Joker tells batman that he played a joke on the people in the boats and that it turns out each bo…

Even as Sony Pictures moves ahead with plans for Spider-Man 4 & 5, the studio is also actively developing the spin-off film Venom, featuring the monstrous alien villain brought to cinematic life in last summer's Spider-Man 3.
According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, Sony has tapped a pair of unidentified writers to script Venom. Mean Creak scribe Jacob Estes had previously hired to pen the screenplay but the studio decided to go in a new direction with different writers.
And what of Topher G…

The Dark knight is a Cinematic abortion! It ran two and a half hours too long! Heath Ledger is a horrific actor ; All Ledger does the entire movie is act like the pretty boy,and skip around (on stilts) awkwardly dispensing puns in a garish costume that makes queen amidala (of one of the best movies ever made) look subtle! The Action Sequences are dark and incredibly difficult to see; often times a fight or chase will stop just for batman and the joker to make small talk about they're day.
